Our members and community spoke, and we listened! One Run, the fan-favorite 5K walk/run, is returning bigger, bolder, and more fun than ever! One Run isn’t just a race…it’s a high-energy celebration of hope, courage, and community where every mile matters for North Texans impacted by cancer.

One Run, which originally began in 2011, was created as an all-inclusive answer to other runs with a singular focus, allowing for the more rare or lesser-known diagnoses to also have a platform. At the One Run, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends, plus supporters like you, come together around one powerful belief: no one should face cancer alone. Every step you take helps ensure that local individuals and families can access social and emotional support at absolutely no cost to them.

We're on a mission ... to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Our vision is that no one should have to face cancer alone.

Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT) provides a welcoming place where cancer patients, survivors, their caretakers and loved ones can join others for emotional and social support -- an essential complement to medical care -- all free of charge. We have three comfortable locations, in Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin counties, where we provide support groups, individual counseling, healthy living and experiential art workshops, fun social events, educational presentations, a kid's support program, and resources and referrals - completely free of charge for all!

Founded in 2002, we have served the needs of thousands in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Last year we closed our clubhouse doors to in-person services in March and pivoted to a digital platform to continue providing our essential services to men, women, and children impacted by cancer in North Texas. Our digital platform allowed us to continue to connect with our members and reach more of the DFW community. In 2020 we provided 651 support groups, 509 health & wellness workshops, 42 social events, 46 programs for kids, and 75 educational presentations.

You will receive a personal referral link with your confirmation email that must be used to receive credit for a referral registration. Registrations done without the referral link will NOT be credited toward your refund and will not be credited after the fact.

MOVE-A-THON SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday, April 2nd - Virtual Registration Kick-Off Event (Live on Facebook)
Saturday, May 1st - One Run Begins! If you are a 1 mile / 5K participant, complete your race prior to the close of One Run on May 30th. If you are a move-a-thon participant, complete 35 minutes of any activity a day for all 30 days. Don't forget to submit your race times and activities! Check out our FAQs for more information.
Tuesday, June 1st - One Run Celebration Event & Award Ceremony (Live on Facebook)

Teams are formed during registration to encourage camaraderie and to unite for the cause. To find a team or create a team, please go to "Teams." If you have already registered, but would like to join a team, please visit this tutorial.

Race Teams also have the opportunity to raise money to support the programs and services of Cancer Support Community North Texas!
