About Plano Pacers 3x3K Relay + FREE Kids 1K
The Plano Pacers 2024 Dog Days Relay 3x3K and Kids K will be held August 29th at 8AM at Windhaven Meadows Park. The courses for this event can be found here.
Relay team registration is available here. Teams are strongly encouraged to submit their entry data online in advance and avoid the race morning rush. If you have any issues with registering your team please email us at planopacersinfo@gmail.com.
New members can sign-up or existing members can renew online here. Teams can also be formed on race day, and team changes can be made as well in the registration area prior to 7:30am. In-person guest registration is $20 on race day.
The Kid's K is free and open to all kids. No need to register in advance. The Kids K should start at about 9:15-9:30 after the relay is completed.
Relay Race Rules
1. Team Captains - arrive before 7:30am to pick up your team Baton and declare which runners will run the 1st, 2nd and 3rd legs of the race
2. Teams can be formed on race day, and team changes can be made as well in the registration area prior to 7:30am.
3. Teams of 2 may participate with 1 member running the first and last legs of the race.
4. Team categories will be based on the total of team participants' ages on race day.
5. You do not need your ankle chip or a bib this month. (The chip will be in your team baton.)
6. During the race, the next runner in your group should stand near the starting line at the approximate time your runner is expected to arrive.
7. Those not running the next leg should stand about 10 meters away from the handoff zone to provide space for the runners doing handoffs.
