Portal 41st Fish Day Run/Walk/Roll 2026

We're excited to see you at Portal's 41st Fish Day Run/Walk/Roll!   

The Run/Walk/Roll kicks-off Saturday morning's activities for the traditional Port Fish Days Festival.   Check out all the activities during this Amazing three-day event!

RaceDayEvents, the Midwest's leader in event production management, will coordinate the event.  We are excited to have their professional expertise for the run and walk route through picturesque Port Washington with its beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline.  In order to support the guidelines established by the City of Port Washington and the Port Washington Police Department to ensure the safety of both the runners/walkers and the community, both the run and walk will be a 5K (3.1 mile) distance.  

Current Registration is:

Pre-registration:$30 through May 17
$40 from May 18 to July 11
$50 July 12th through July18th

Race Day Registration will be:

• $50 per participant
  • 6:30 am to 7:45 am
  • Online, cashless registration process only

• Continue Straight Coal Dock Park Rd
• Turn right onto S Wisconsin St
• Turn right onto E Grand Ave/I-43ALT
• Head east on E Grand Ave/I-43ALT toward N Franklin St
• Use Pedestrian Path on left side of Public Bathroom Building to access Board Walk
• Head North on the Board Walk
• Turn right at end of marina and head East
• Cross N Lake St Port and turn Left to proceed North on N Lake St Port
• Continue with traffic on Lake St/N Lake St Port
• Use the bike lane on the right-hand side of Lake St/N Lake St Port when possible
• Cross Hales Trail and turn Right to proceed North on Hales Trail
• Turn left onto Ozaukee Interurban Trail
• Head south on Ozaukee Interurban Trail toward E Jackson St
• Turn right onto E Jackson St
• Turn left onto Harborview Ln
• Head south on Harborview Ln toward E Pier St
• Proceed to the Board Walk on the other side of E Washington St
• Head South on the Board Walk
• Veer Right to use Pedestrian Path to access E Grand Ave/I-43ALT
• Head West on E Grand Ave/I-43ALT
• Turn left onto S Wisconsin St
• Turn left onto Coal Dock Park Rd

The Portal 39th Fish Days Run/Walk/Roll route for both the run and walk will be a 5K event (3.1 miles).  

This singular route supports guidelines established by the City of Port Washington and the Port Washington Police Department to ensure the safety of runners, walkers and the community. 

• The route starts and finishes in Coal Dock Park.  
• It travels the harbor area leading to Upper Lake Park.
• Continuing to the Ozaukee County Interurban Trail.
• Back along the harbor area.
• Re-entering Coal Dock Park.
