About Pound Ridge Color Run
Hosted by the Pound Ridge Partnership in collaboration with the Human Rights Advisory Committee, the Pound Ridge Color Run is the town’s only 5K Road Race & Fun Run dedicated exclusively to celebrating Pride Month—with a splash of Holi-inspired color! Join us in showing love for our LGBTQ community and spend a morning drenched in local pride.
Event Information
5K Road Race
The 5K Road Race is a timed race with colored powder stations located at every 1K marker to add a splash of color to the run! Park at the Town Park and be shuttled to the start at Pound Ridge Elementary School. The last shuttle leaves at 8:40 a.m. Same-day registration will be available before race time at the elementary school. Sorry, no parking at the school.
Fun Run
Not interested in competing in a 5k? No worries! The Fun Run is perfect for you! Enjoy the streets of Pound Ridge at whatever pace you want—walk, jog, or run—and join in the festivities at the finish line. Beginning at a staggered 9:15am start, the Fun Run will follow the same route as the 5K Road Race until the Town Park. From there until the finish, participants will be directed onto the paved pathway so feel free to bring the whole family, including your little ones in strollers! Fun Run participants will be allowed to throw color throughout the run and people of all ages and abilities are welcome. Park at the Town Park and be shuttled to the start. The last shuttle leaves at 8:40 a.m. Same-day registration will be available before race time at the elementary school. Sorry, no parking at the school.
