Powisset Farm Trail Run - Spring

The Powisset (pronounced “po-wiss-it”) Farm Trail Run is part of the Barn to Run Trail Race Series and the spring edition of this event takes place Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025 at Powisset Farm in Dover, MA.  The event includes running the trails of Powisset Farm and neighboring Noanet Woodlands and offers 4 race distances to choose from — 8.6, 5.6, 3.1 and 1.5 miles.  

Monday, 5/25/26: RACE DAY! (at Powisset Farm, 37 Powisset St, Dover, MA)

• 7:00am: Packet pick-up/registration begins at Powisset Farm
• 8:00am: Start of the 1.5 mile race
• 8:24am (est): Start of the 5.6 and 8.6 mile races
• 8:45am (est): Start of the 3.1 mile race
• 9:45am (est): Awards ceremony for the 3.1 mile race
• 10:15am (est): Awards ceremony for the 5.6 & 8.6 mile races

Awards will be given to 3 fastest men and women in each race. Awards to be announced.

Each Barn to Run race includes attractions and activities to keep the kids entertained while mom or dad is participating in the event (children must still be accompanied by an adult at all times). Powisset Farm has a barn yard with pigs, chickens and goat, a small play area.

All registrants will receive a unique URL in their registration confirmation email. Share that URL with friends and family and if 3 people register using that URL you will receive a $15 refund to the credit card you used when you signed up. There will be 1 aid station set up in Noanet Woods offering water. THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE... you must have your own hydration carrier. A limited number of HydraPak speedcups and Barn to Run hydration belts will be available for sale at the event for those that need a hydration carrier on a race day.  

Runners in the 8.6 mile race will pass the aid station 3 times... just before mile 2, again near mile 5 and finally near mile 7.8. Runners in the 5.6 mile race will pass the aid station twice... just before mile 2 and near mile 5.  Runners in the 3.1 mile race will pass the aid station near mile 2.5.

Runners in the 8.6, 5.6 or 3.1 mile races that register by Sunday, 5/10/26 are guaranteed a soft cotton, gender specific t-shirt. Runners that register after that date and all runners in the 1.5 mile race will receive a Barn to Run lightweight backpack. T-shirt shown is the 2025 shirt design.

• Powisset Farm Trail Run, Dover, MA - Sunday, 10/25/26

NOTE: Historically, the 8.6 mile race has been listed as 8.3 miles. Capturing an accurate measurement of a trail race course can be tricky at times, but after more careful review and measurement with more accurate tools it was determined the course is more accurately measured at 8.6 miles, not 8.3 miles. As a result, we are now listing this event distance as 8.6 miles, but the route has not been changed.
