Private School Pups 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk

Join Private School Pups on Sunday, May 17, 2026, for our 4th Annual 5K at the Dublin Recreation Center! 

Private School Pups is a charity providing professional dog training grants and educational resources to fosters and adopters of rescue dogs in need. Our mission is to help end the euthanasia of dogs at shelters by providing funding for professional dog training. You can help us achieve this mission while also getting fit by signing up for our 4th Annual Private School Pups 5K Run/Walk. We'll see you there!

Early Packet Pickup

This year, all pickup will be on race day. We'll see you bright and early on May 19 to get your race gear so you're all set for the Private School Pups 5K!

Race Day Parking

There is plenty of parking at the Dublin Recreation Center near the start/finish line. Follow the road back to the northwest-most parking lot as shown in the graphic below. Plug 5600 Post Rd, Dublin, OH 43017 into your favorite navigation platform or click here to see where you're going. 

Race Day Timeline

• 7:30 AM - Race day pickup and registration begins near the start line in the northwest parking lot at the Dublin Recreation Center. 
• 9:00 AM - The Private School Pups 5K is underway in conjunction with the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk!
• 10:00 AM - Awards ceremony near the finish line

Awards

Awards will be presented in the 5K Run/Walk event to the top three overall finishers in each of the following gender categories: female, male, and non-binary.

Safety

Though this event supports Private School Pups, in 2024 for the safety of all involved we do not support participation with pets. We will consider updates to this policy in future events, but this year we ask that you please understand and leave your pups at home! Participation with strollers is allowed, we do ask that you start at the back of the pack. Participation with bicycles, inline skates, and/or hoverboards are all prohibited.

Our After Party!

Come celebrate with us after the race at North High Brewing in Dublin - 56 N High St, Dublin, OH 43017. Pups are welcome on the patio, and race registrants get a 10% coupon as a reward for supporting rescue dogs. North High opens at 10 am. All racers and non-racers are welcome for the after-party.
