Prosper Veterans Day Honor Run

The Prosper Veterans Day Honor Run is hosted as a salute to the men and women who have served in our nation’s military and offers three runs, a 5k, 10k & Fun Run. Proceeds benefit the Veterans Memorial, planned for construction at Frontier Park in the near future. The annual race events are held on or near Veterans Day each year and are open to runners and walkers of all ages, including children, parents pushing strollers, and individuals using wheelchairs. Friends and family are encouraged to come join the fun and cheer on their favorite runners!  

The location of the race is 1551 W. Frontier Pkwy. The start of the race will be located inside of the PISD Stadium Parking Lot. Attached are the course maps. (Please note that the 10K Route will be the 5K Route run twice.) We ask that when you are finished with your race, you quickly clear the start and finish lines.

The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a short program honoring Veterans, led by Mayor Bristol. There will be a medal ceremony upon conclusion of the races.

Race Packet pick up prior to the event will be available from the Parks & Recreation Administrative offices located at 409 E First Street in Prosper.

Wednesday, November  5: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00p.m. through Friday, November 7:  8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Race Packets will also be available for pick up the morning of the Race!  Below is a map of public parking for the event.
