The 2027 Publix Run to The Arts 5K will AGAIN be timed this year by our Cape Coral neighbors Lin-Mark Sports - Runners will be able to sign up to receive texted results during the entry process.

Our event will use the Chronotrack Timing System with a disposable timing chip (called a B tag) affixed on the back of your race bib.

The Overall Male and Female award will be based on GUN Time - Any runner who feels that they can win an overall award should position themselves at the front of the starting line to achieve the fastest gun time possible. All other overall and age age group awards will be based upon chip time.

Runners are eligible to win one award.

Overall Awards - Overall 1st Place Male/Female (Based on GUNTIME), -  Masters, grand masters, and senior masters. (Based on CHIPTIME)

Early Packet Pick-Up

If you registered online, you can get your packet early complete with race bib and t-shirt and be all set for race day. NO ID required — friends can pick up each others’ packets … we’ll just ask folks to sign for what they pick up, so we can keep track of who got what. (Packets can also be picked up on race day, but be sure to get there early! Race-Day packet pickup starts at 7am.)

7:00 - 8:00 a.m.  Same Day Race Registration and Packet pick-up: Edwards Drive @ Monroe Street.
8:00 a.m.  Race starts ... woo hoo!
8:30 - 9:45 a.m.  Breakfast and awards

The Publix Run To The Arts isn't just a race, it's a full morning of fun that kicks off Sunday morning at ArtFest Fort Myers with exceptional art, entertainment, and children’s art activities. Your registration fee guarantees you a spot in the race as well as lots of goodies.

You'll get your very own Run To The Arts t-shirt with beautiful art by an ArtFest Fort Myers artist. Your choice of styles -- standard straight-cut with crew neck OR ladies fitted cut, with v-neck. Both styles are made of the same great high-performance quick-dry fabric.

Pre-Run Warm Up

Gather around the Start Line area at Bay St. & Monroe St. about 7:45am for morning energy.

Tasty Breakfast

Your race bib is your ticket to the post-race breakfast, featuring tasty Publix treats - muffins; bananas; yogurt; and a few surprises.

The Course

The course will begin at Bay Street and Monroe Street and end on Edwards Drive and Monroe Street.  See the course map icon on the main entry page

Parking

There is ample parking along First Street, Bay Street, and all over downtown. Street parking is all FREE on the weekend. There are also parking garages nearby.
