We are excited to announce that proceeds from this year's Race to Share the Gospel Around the World will benefit our programming in Thailand!
FAQ
Q: For the Virtual Race, do I need to go the entire distance at one time?
A: You choose the distance you want to go at one time. Whether you do a mile at a time, all at once, or somewhere in between, this challenge can be completed however you would like!
Q: Can I go farther than the 13 miles?
A: Absolutely! And if you are asking others to make donations by sponsoring you, you are able to set a goal and have them pledge a per mile amount. In fact, someone completed more than 100 miles in a previous race!
Q: If I sign up with a team, do I need to complete the challenge with them?
A: No. You can sign up as a team and complete it individually. However, it is more fun to participate together! Some churches choose to do prayer walks, while another has gone out together on a bicycle ride.
Q: I am not in Pennsylvania. May I still participate?
A: Definitely! Since this is a virtual challenge, everyone from across America, and even around the world, are able to participate. The more the merrier!
How to Submit Results
Please note, you will need to record your Virtual Race results manually for this event, which will include both amount of time and distance for each entry. For best results, be sure to enter your information each day (or 1 mile at a time) to unlock the milestone markers with prayer suggestions, then be sure to go to your race map in between each one to find where your icon is along the race path. You can enter your results by going to your profile and clicking on the Submit Virtual Results. All results need to be recorded by 11:59 PM on Sunday, May 31st.

Saturday, May 16th Family Fun Day and Race Schedule
8:00-9:00 – Race Packet Pickup (or 9-3 at The Tide office on Friday, May 15th)
9:00-1:00 – Games, Family-Fun Activities, and Sponsor Booths Open
9:15 – *1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
10:00 – *5K Run/Walk
11:15 - Medal Ceremony and Door Prize Drawings (must be present to win)
11:30 – FREE Lunch
*Paid registration required for these events.
The Family Fun Day is open to the public. Please note: a signed waiver is required to participate in the activities. Please visit the registration table upon arrival to sign and receive your wristband. Minors require an adult to sign for them.
Race path will be traveled 2 times for the 5K event.
Registration Includes
Individuals can pay one registration fee to participate in both in-person events! In addition, the same individual will receive a complimentary Virtual Race entry in the event of their choice by simply clicking on the events they would like to participate in when registering.

- Race Sticker
- Race Bib (5K** and Printable Virtual Races only)
- Printable Finisher Certificate (Virtual Races only)

*T-Shirts for registrations received after May 1st may not be available until after the event and shipping charges may apply.
If you are unable to pick up your Race swag from The Tide office or at the Race Kick Off event, please select $6 shipping option when registering.
