Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside Run - 5K and Fun Walk

April 24 Update: We've reached our limit for guaranteed t-shirts.  Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt, but may be able to pick up a shirt after the race if any are available.

April 22 Update:  We're super excited about the first-ever Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside 5k Run/Walk and Family Mile on Sunday, April 26th. 

We expect about 400 runners and walkers of all ages, all abilities, and all bodies. 

Registration is available online until 8:15 am race morning!

Powered through a partnership with the incredible team at Run Tucson, this event will include a scenic 5K run route that winds through the picturesque community of Rancho Sahuarita, and a 1 mile Fun Walk around Sahuarita Lake. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit Diamond Children’s Medical Center, supporting their vital mission to provide critical pediatric care to children across Southern Arizona when they need it most. 

Families are invited to enjoy entertainment in our Family Play Area before and during the race, and all participants can relax and celebrate in the post-race area following the event.

Saturday, April 25
10:00am - 1:00pm: Packet pickup and in-person registration at The Running Shop (3055 North Campbell Avenue, Tucson) -- special packet pickup sale on colorful and comfortable Balaga socks, buy one pair and receive the next at 50% off!

Sunday, April 26: Planned Race Day Schedule
6:30 am: Check in begins at Sahuarita Lake Park
7:30 am: Family One Mile Begins
7:45 am: 5k Run/Walk Begins

Ongoing: Activities at Sahuarita Lake Park Amphitheater

9:00 am: Awards

Pricing: The early-bird pricing ended on April 11th, so the registration fee for the 5K is $30, which includes a complimentary t-shirt, timed race, finish line video, souvenir race bib number, and post-race activities. 

The registration fee for the 1 Mile Fun Walk is also $20 (for those 11 and older), and also includes a complimentary t-shirt. Children 10 years of age and younger can also register to participate in the Fun Walk for $5, and can sign up to receive a super hero cape.
