Red Dirt Mud Run

Come try your skills at the Red Dirt Mud Run, brought to you by the Nacogdoches Jaycees.

Prepare to get muddy—this course combines open pasture (on an abandoned horse track) with wooded trails full of scenery. Oh, and we almost forgot THE OBSTACLES! We have over 25 obstacles to challenge you, including a Mud Bog that even trucks struggle to get through.

SCARED YET? Don’t be. We’ve designed routes for every level—beginner, advanced, and HARDCORE.

REMEMBER: All youth (under 18) MUST run with an adult.

All runners who sign up in time receive a t‑shirt and a medal.

Put your lower body to the ultimate test with our Death Metal Pedal Obstacle! This obstacle will test you and your friends by challenging you to round up our heavy Red Dirt Approved speed rope. Pacing yourself is the trick here. Be sure to be consistent and keep the momentum with your legs! 

Axe Throwing is one of our newest obstacles. Either hit the target or pay the price(10 Burpees). 

Red Dirt Mud Run has over 25 obstacles, every obstacle has modifications to make it either harder or easier depending on your level. Our obstacles are for everyone from first time runner to elite athlete. If you're not challenged enough just tell one of our guys, I am sure we can give your some burpees to do. Our goal is to make sure you come out and have a good time while getting fitter and setting a goal. Gotta skip one, set a goal for next year.

Come test your might and get wild with the Red Dirt Mud Run Slip and Slide! This obstacle will help you cool off with the finest East Texas Red Dirt and Mud! Be sure to wear some good shoes that wont slip off! It can get crazy on this slip and slide. Tried, Tested and Retested!  This slide will leave you wanting more!

Being dirty never felt so good! With the Muddy Over/Under kiss being clean good bye! Dip and Dive right on in and show yourself what you really are made of by conquering this muddy obstacle. Several muddy bars of muddy greatness await you when try to conquer this obstacle. The trick to this obstacle is to keep moving and try not to settle in one spot to long. Keep it moving!
