Solutions Recovery, Inc. is proud to announce its annual Run/Walk for Recovery event, set to take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Solutions Recovery Center - 621 Evans Street in Oshkosh, WI. This family-friendly event aims to raise awareness, celebrate recovery, and bring the community together in support of individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.

Recovery is happening every single day in our community.

People are walking into the Recovery Center for the first time.
Parents are rebuilding relationships with their kids.
Individuals are moving into sober living and starting over.
Someone is choosing to stay one more day.

ReThink Addiction brings our community together to honor that courage.

This event is for anyone who believes in second chances. Whether you are in recovery, love someone who is, work in the field, or stand as an ally, your presence matters. Run in honor of someone. Walk with your family. Show up with your recovery group. Invite your coworkers. All ages and fitness levels are welcome.

Funds raised directly support Solutions Recovery programs, including our Recovery Center, sober living homes, and the Peer Response Team. These services provide housing, recovery coaching, 24/7 peer support, transportation, and connection to treatment for individuals and families across the Fox Valley.

When you register, you are helping keep our doors open mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You are helping someone find safe housing. You are helping someone get to treatment. You are helping someone feel less alone.

Solutions Recovery Mission: To support and empower those impacted by alcohol and drug addiction, enhancing the quality of life in our community.

1. When is the Solutions Recovery 5K?
The run will be held on Saturday September 13th, starting at 8:00 AM. We encourage
all participants to arrive at least 30-60 minutes early for check-in and warm-up.

2. Where will the 5K take place?
The event will be hosted at 621 Evans Street, Oshkosh WI. Volunteers and signs will
be on-site to direct you to parking, registration, and the starting line.

3. How do I register?
You can register online at ReThink Addiction Run/Walk or on the day of the event (if space
is available). Early registration is recommended to secure your race packet and t-shirt.

4. What is the registration fee?
The entry fee is $27 up until June 30, 2025, 11:59pm. Registration will increase to
$35 September 12, 2025, 11:59pm. Registration will increase to $40 on race day.
includes a race bib, Solutions Recovery 5K t-shirt or water bottle (while supplies last), and post-race
refreshments. All proceeds support our recovery programs and sober living services.

5. Is the race timed?
Yes! We will provide timing for all participants. Whether you're aiming for a personal
best or just joining in for fun, your time will be recorded.

6. Can I walk instead of run?
Yes! Walkers, runners, families, and supporters of all ages and fitness levels are
welcome. This is a recovery-friendly, community-focused event.

7. Can I bring a stroller or pet?
Strollers are welcome, but please start near the back for safety. Pets are not
permitted, except for registered service animals.

8. Where and when is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be available on 9/12/25 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and also on race day
before the start.

9. Is parking available?
Parking will be permitted on the open side streets where parking is allowed.

10. What happens if it rains?
The event will take place rain or shine. In case of severe weather, we will post updates
on our social media and website:

11. Will there be prizes or awards?
Yes! Awards will be given to top finishers in various age categories.

12. Will there be water stations or restrooms?
Yes, we’ll have water stations on the route and at the finish line. Restrooms will be
available near the check-in area, inside the recovery center.

13. Can I volunteer instead of running?
Absolutely! Volunteers are essential to our event. You can help with setup, registration,

substance use access sober living, peer support, and other recovery resources. Your
