Run 2 Save Our Youth

Join in the fun of the annual Run 2 Save Our Youth, 5k Run/Walk on May 30th, 2026. Sponsored by the Livonia Police Department and Livonia Save Our Youth Coalition, the event takes place at Livonia City Hall.  We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year! 

Pricing:

March 1st to May 22nd - $25

May 23rd to May 29th  - $35

*There is NO race day registration.

Ages 18 and under and Seniors 60+: $5 Discount (reduced price automatically applied during checkout).

Family Discounted pricing: Save $3 per person when you register 3 or more people at the same time.

* Early Packet Pickup: Friday, May 29th, 12-6 at the Livonia Rec Center, 15100 Hubbard, Livonia, MI 48154. 

Race day packet pickup will begin at 8:00 am at Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Dr, Livonia, MI 48154 

The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and online HERE.

Where do the proceeds go?
All of the proceeds go to support programs thru the Livonia Save Our Youth Coalition. Learn more HERE.

Where do I park?
There is ample free parking in the Livonia City Hall.

Is there a Packet Pick Up?
We have packet pick on Friday, May 29th from Noon to 8pm at the Livonia Rec Center, 15100 Hubbard, Livonia, MI 48154. Packet pick up on race day begins at 8 AM

Can I pick up my family or friend’s Packet at Packet Pick Up?
Yes.

What are the T-shirt sizes?
Your entry fee includes a T-Shirt. Men, Women and Children sizes available. Shirts are not guaranteed after May 8th. Register early to be guaranteed a t-shirt!

Are baby joggers and strollers allowed?
Yes. We do ask that you line up in the back at the start.

What is the course like? The course is run on city streets and sidewalks thru Livonia. Please see the course map on the Race Info page. The course USATF certified.

Are Dogs Allowed?
No. For the safety of the participants and the dogs we ask that you not bring your dog.

Are there refunds? This event will be held rain or shine, there are no refunds for this event.

We are offering Men, Women and youth size t-shirts.  Register by May 8th to guarantee your t-shirts. T-shirts available after that date as supplies last. 

Run for FREE with a $100 donation! 

Donate $50 and receive $10 off your entry fee. Donate $25 and receive $5 off your entry fee.

Steps how to receive a free/discounted entry:

1. Choose Sign Up and follow the steps to register for the race

2. You will be routed to the Donation page during registration, choose the $100, $50, or $25 donation level

3. Your discount (free entry) will be reflected in the cart during checkout.

• *Please note if you go to the donation page first and enter the donation the discount will not be applied for a free entry. You must register by choosing Sign Up first.
• *The Run for FREE promotion is valid until the price increase on 5/22, then it's a $25 discount off the entry fee with a $100 donation.
