Run The Grove 5K by Primos Dallas

Primos Dallas is hosting our 3rd Annual Run the Grove 5K on Saturday, April 18, 2026!  Our mentoring program serves families in the southeast Dallas area of Pleasant Grove and we are excited to bring a certified 5K race with official timing to the neighborhood. We will also have a Fun Run course, and family friendly activities, including free food, music, face painting, and games. 

Join us to raise scholarship funds for high school and college students. Since 2018, Primos has awarded $105,000 in scholarships. We aim to alleviate the burden of post high school educational costs for first generation students. 

5K: 

• Timed and competitive
• Paved trail
• Begins at 8am

ALL 5K Participants will receive: 

• a Run the Grove t-shirt (while supplies last)
• a completion medal upon completion
• a free meal after the race 
• unlimited water
• snacks
• immediate race results
• Prizes will be awarded to 1st place, 2nd, and 3rd in every age/sex category

3k Fun Run:

• Paved trail
• Dog friendly
• Stroller friendly
• Not timed
• Begins at 9:30am

ALL 3K Participants will receive: 

• a Run the Grove t-shirt
• a free meal after the race (breakfast tacos and Mexican paleta)
• unlimited water
• snacks

7:00 AM    Registrations Begins

8:00 AM    Competitive 5K Race Begins

9:00 AM    Competitive 5K Prizes Awarded

9:30 AM    Fun Run 3K Begins

Parking is permitted at the 2 lots indicated on the map below. Participants may also park along Elam Road and Prairie Creek Road.
