At the heart of the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County’s mission is promoting health and wellness for all. This event embodies that vision, encouraging participants to embrace an active lifestyle while raising funds for vital community health programs. Lakeview Wellness is excited to partner with The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County to help increase opportunities for health and wellness for all ages at the lake and beyond. As a new nonprofit dedicated to fostering physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, Lakeview Wellness focuses on addressing the needs of individuals with disabilities while creating opportunities for everyone to thrive.
Proceeds from the race will support the foundation's initiatives to enhance local healthcare services, ensuring a healthier future for our community. A portion of the proceeds from the race will also support Lakeview Wellness’s mission to revitalize the Lake Santee marina property, transforming it into an accessible hub for connection, health, and wellness opportunities.
Starting at the beautiful Lake Santee, runners will follow a scenic route that winds along the shoreline, offering stunning vistas of the water and surrounding nature.
