Run the Vineyards - Penns Woods Yoga & 5K

Join us for the 15th Annual Run the Vineyards hosted by Penns Woods Winery!

Race Highlights:

• 9 AM - 15 Minute Yoga Session begins. Suitable for all levels. Presented by Yoga 6 of Glen Mills.

• 9:15 AM - 5K Chip-timed Race starts and finishes on the winery property, continues through the vineyard on short-cut, well manicured grass, and includes a portion of the 1st State Historical National Park! (PA portion)

• Custom High-quality Tech shirt included. Women's, Men's/unisex, Youth sizes or upgrade to Women's Racerback Tank Top for $5 extra. Men's Tank optional for no added fee. **Please Register by Aug. 30 to guarantee first choice. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last after Aug. 30. 

• One Glass of Wine included (21+) (Nonalcoholic beverage options available)

• "Run the Vineyards" Stemless Wine Glass included

• Souvenir Finisher Medals available for purchase during registration for $8 or $10 on race day (while supplies last)

• Live Musician performs at after-party until 12 Noon.

• Food Truck on site

• Awards for Top 3 Male & Female Overall and Age Group winners (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and  every 10 yrs)

• Free Downloadable Photos! Professional photographers on staff.

• Walkers and children welcome. Registration required to be on course for the safety of all participants. 1 Hour Time Limit.

• Dogs permitted on property, but not on race course. Jogging strollers not permitted on course. 

Important Race Day Details: 

• Packet Pick Up on Race Day @ 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent.

• Bring a mat or beach towel. Arrive before 8:30 AM to pick up race bib and shirt, and set up for yoga.

• Yoga Starts @ 9AM. Race starts after 15 min yoga session, approx. 9:15 AM.  

• Late arrivals may not start course after race starts. Course markings change during the race, and late arrivals can still pick up their swag, but will not be accomodated onto the course for the safety of all participants. 

• Spectators welcome. Wine available for purchase during the race and after-party. 

• Race is Rain or Shine. No refunds or deferrals.

  • Saturday  (Race Day) - 7:30-8:30am at Penns Woods Winery
• Event Day Schedule - 
  • 7:30-8:30am - Check-In
  • 9am - Yoga starts (approx. 15 Minutes Long) Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel for this session.
  • 9:15-9:20 Transition period (You may head to car if wanted to store yoga matts and/or change clothes/shoes.)
  • 9:20am 5K Run starts.
  • 10am-Noon will be Live Music by Matt Miskie
  • 10:30am - Awards (Awards will not be mailed)
  • Penns Woods Winery will be serving wine all morning and afternoon! 
  • Food Truck will be on site - Cafe Gourmino.  Penns Woods also offers some tapas style items.  You are welcome to bring your own food as well. 
  • Pre Race ID Check will be available. Please have ID available.
