Run the Vineyards 5K hosted by the beautiful Waltz Vineyards Estate Winery in historic Lancaster County! 

Enjoy a 5K Run or Walk through scenic vineyards with mountain views and finish with World Class European-style wine. Memorable race that combines running, fun, wine, music, and relaxation! Join us and start a new family tradition Mother's Day weekend! Good Day for a Run and our unique race series was welcomed here 6 years ago by the Waltz Family and has grown more popular each year as we choose the day before Mother's Day to celebrate all Mothers - new and experienced! The results prove that many have enjoyed this off-road race and accomplished new milestones in their running careers!

• The Run - 

  • Scenic 5K course through vineyard while enjoying 100s of miles of views! 

  • Chip-timed with Instant Results. Race Starts at 9AM.

  • Awards for Top 3 Overall and Age Group Male & Female Winners (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 yrs)

• The After Party - 

  • A Complimentary Glass of Award Winning Wine for age 21+

  • Live music immediately after race at 9:45 AM 'til Noon

  • Food truck on-site with delicious food items to order

  • Walkers and children are welcome to participate.1 Hour time limit kindly requested. Need to start on time at 9 AM behind the runners for safety of all participants. SPECIAL PRICING - Children receive discount during registration (wine ticket not provided to them)

  • Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals. 

  • Packet Pick-Up on Race Day @ 7:30 - 8:30 AM at the "Good Day for a Run" tent. Please Arrive by 8:30 AM to check-in.

• Walkers and all ages welcome, need to register and start @ 9AM behind runners.
• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 - 8:30 AM at winery. (Please Arrive between 7:30 - 8:30 AM to pick up race items. Race starts at 9 AM.)
• Race is Rain or shine. 
• No refunds or Transfers.  
• Course is not suitable for jogging strollers.
• Dogs are permitted on course and lawn providing they are kept on leash and please clean up after him/her.

• Location - Waltz Vineyards located at 1599 Old Line Road, Manheim, PA
• Check-in - 7:30am-8:30am Come on-time. Driveway will have limited access between 8:45-9:45am.  
• Results - Live results will be available on the Run Sign Up Site link using the Results Tab. We will have a QR Code available at the Finish!
• Awards - Top 3 Overall and per age group will earn an award.(Under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc)
• Food Truck is Mad Dash. They have great food, so bring your appetite. INFO HERE

• Strollers are not recommended on this course. But they are allowed. But please keep in mind that 2 miles is cross-country style.
