On Your Left Fitness is proud to partner with the Town of Marana Parks and Recreation to bring you the 4th Annual Tortolita Traverse, A challenging, yet breathtaking course in the Tortolita Preserve.
The Course
Run the route! Challenge yourself to a half marathon on a mixture of single-track trail and wash (sand) running or test your speed in the 7-mile Tortolita loop Course. There will be aid stations roughly every 3 miles on the course.

This is your chance to pick up your packet and race swag and also discuss the courses with the race directors.
If you can't attend Mappy Hour, you can pick up your packet race morning.
Race-Day Registration
You can register online on race day until 6:00 a.m. PLEASE USE YOUR HOME COMPUTER OR CELL PHONE TO REGISTER. There will be NO PAPER registration on race day. Price increased on race day to $45.

Results will be posted live on the event website, and you can sign up for text messaging.

Race Day Details
Get ready to conquer our breathtaking trails surrounded by the majestic saguaros of southern Arizona. As you prepare for the adventure ahead, here's everything you need to know to make the most of your experience:
Hydration is key, and we've got you covered with water refill stations strategically positioned along the route, ensuring you're never more than 3 miles away from a refreshing refill. While on the trail, we recommend carrying at least a liter of water to keep you hydrated and energized throughout your journey. This event is cup-less, but don't worry if you forget your container—we'll provide a small, reusable cup for your convenience.
The trails remain open to the public, please note that to reduce congestion the trailhead parking lot will be closed, and signage has been placed to inform the public of the event. We kindly ask participants to carpool whenever possible, as parking is limited. Upon arrival, our dedicated staff will be on hand to direct you to the designated parking area, just a ¼ mile down a dirt road.
Prepare for the heat, as this event is set to be the hottest (pun intended) in southern Arizona, with temperatures expected to exceed 90 degrees. With little to no shade along the route, it's crucial to stay hydrated and protected from the sun. To help you combat the heat, we'll have Tailwind electrolyte solution available to keep you feeling your best.
