Running With Padre 5K & 1 Mile Walk/Run

Saturday, October 17, 2026 - 1 mile fun run/walk & 5k will start at 8 am 

201 Church Street – St. Anne’s Church 

Youngsville, LA 70592  

 

Run/Walk the 1 Mile or the 5K Through Beautiful Youngsville, LA
Run/Walk starts on the grounds of the Church where there will also be music, snacks, fun jumps, face painting, and more! 

A fun, family friendly event.  All proceeds will support the effort to preserve our present Church, and to build and expand a new worship space for St. Anne Parish.

 

Registration Fees:

1 Mile or 5K Fees:

Now till Oct. 16th   -  $30 (Includes a T-shirt if registered by 10/1/26)
Late Registration   -  $40 on Race Day

 

T-shirt Purchase Option:

 

This year we are offering the ability to purchase the race t-shirt.   Price to be determined very soon. Click on the Race T-shirt For Sale tab at the top of the page or they are available for purchase during your registration process.

The theme this year is "Peace, Love, & Padre".  

The deadline for a t-shirt is October 1, 2026 to be guaranteed at packet pickup. 

 

Families of 4 or More:

 

For families of 4 or more there is a special discount.  Please contact the race director, Mary Richard, at mygirlinla@gmail.com.

 

 

Packet Pickup:

 

Will take place on Friday, October 16 in the parish hall from 12 to 6 PM located at 201 Church St., Youngsville.  If you cannot make it at that time you can pickup your packet on Race morning.

 

Age Groups: 

For the 5K:   (1-14,15-19,20-29,30- 39,etc. 70+):  

 

Awards: 

5K Awards: Top 3 Overall Male & Female, & 1st, 2nd, Male & Female for each age group.

 

1 Mile Awards:  Top Overall Male & Female for 14 & Under.

 

We have a No Refund Policy.  Please accept that your registration will be considered a donation in the instance you are not able to attend the event.

 

The Race Benefits the St. Anne New Church Expansion.  We are grateful for your support as all proceeds will not only assist in the success of the race, it will afford us the opportunity to support our faith community as we preserve the history and beauty of our current church, as she will undergo an expansion to accommodate Youngsville’s growing Catholic community.
