About Santa Fe Untamed Virtual Race
Join Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) in a virtual race to celebrate and explore the beauty of North Central Florida and the 75 mile river that flows through it, the Santa Fe River. ACT's goal is to increase conservation along the river corridor from 65 percent to 75 percent, permanently protecting the lands that sustain the Santa Fe and ensuring that its wild character endures for generations to come.
To support conserving 75% of the 75 mile long Santa Fe, ACT is hosting 75 mile virtual race challenge. Hike, bike, run, or paddle 75 miles to support the permanent conservation of lands along the Santa Fe and join ACT for an event on Saturday November 7th at 9am-1pm at Prairie Creek Preserve to finish your last mile and celebrate keeping the Santa Fe Untamed.
Participants before October 2nd, 2026 are guaranteed a medal and past that date medals will be given while supplies last.
