About Santa Run Presented by Al Serra Auto Plaza
These events are all fun runs and are not timed events.
In the spirit of the season, each participant receives a 5-piece Santa suit to wear during the event and a Santa Run finisher medal. New contests and race information will be shared through our social media pages, so be sure to follow us to stay up to date on all the Santa Run events.
Kids Reindeer Run - 11:45am Start Time
The kids reindeer run includes a set of reindeer antlers to wear for the event. This event starts at 11:45am before the 5k and 1 mile. The event will run around the block of the YMCA, approximately 1/4 mile. Because this event finishes before the 5k and 1mile, participants can do both the reindeer run and the 5k or 1 mile.
5k and 1 Mile - Noon Start Time
The 5k and 1 mile events will start at Noon. These are both fun runs, meaning they are not timed events. The starting point for the events is the corner on 3rd Street. Both routes include a milk, cookie and water stop and finish at the 3rd St and Harrison. Coffee, milk, water and cookies will be available after the race in the parking lot of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Portable toilets will also be available at St. Paul's Episcopal Church parking lot. Strollers and wagons are welcome but we ask that you start the event toward the back to not interfere with other participants.

Fastest 5k Santa
The fastest female and male "santas" in the 5k event will win a free one year adult membership to the YMCA of Greater Flint. In order to participate please line up at the front of the starting line and make sure you finish the course wearing the jacket, pants, hat and beard. The first female and male "santas" across the finish line win.
