Sea Rim Striders' 2026 Turkey Trot 5K/10K/Kids K
36th Annual 

The Sea Rim Striders Run Club is an all-volunteer incorporated 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization that has been in existence since the 1970's!   We support, encourage, and promote running and walking at all levels to increase health and fitness awareness, as well as giving back to our community.
Everything we do throughout the year is free and open to the public except the Turkey Trot event, as it is our signature fundraiser event of the year.

We work hard behind the scenes to bring you this awesome Annual race.  Join us as we host this holiday tradition, right here in Beaumont, Texas at The Event Centre on Thanksgiving Morning!

Each year, SRS chooses a local Non Profit charity to feature and give back to.

BIBS - disposable chip on bib.  Do not bend!  Chip timing for 5K/10K with PELICAN TIMING.

0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

*KIDS K:   Timed, but no age groups.   Top Male & Female 1st place overall award

 

Race Start Times:  7:30 AM - Kids K & 1K Special Needs Individuals

                                7:50 AM - Adaptive Athletes 5K/10K

                                8:00 AM - 5K/10K

Turkey will run with the little Kids K participants!

If the escort has already signed up for 5K or 10K and is wearing their race bib, no extra escort/stroller waiver signup is necessary.  Just wear your 5K/10K bib.

We love to see photos of our Participants having a great time!

All Photos will be posted on Sea Rim Striders' Facebook page and the link will be posted in the Turkey Trot Facebook event.

***please note:  SRS has no control over the final amount and content of photos taken.  Our photographers help capture memories on a HOLIDAY race day--most are volunteers.   If you'd like to volunteer to take photos on race day, we would LOVE to have you!!  Please message the race director at SRSclub.TurkeyTrot@gmail.com to sign up to volunteer.   

Stations for photographers are:  start line, finish line, on-course, announcements/warmups, on-stage awards, and  misc. photos required by sponsors/SRS.

RACE DAY

PLEASE COME PICK UP YOUR PACKETS ON WEDNESDAY 11/26 PACKET PICKUP DAY TO AVOID DELAYS ON RACE MORNING! 
*NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION*

Race Morning packet pickup will be available 6am-7am.  Announcements start promptly at 7.  
Packet pickup volunteers need to get ready for their run/walk and attend announcements.

---Medal Monday contest -- show us the finisher medals that you earned! *post your photo comment.  Ask your friends/family to go like your photo. The photo comment with the most likes will win.

---Costume Contest -- Get creative and wear your Turkey Trot spirit!  When we post the costume contest, comment with your 2026 Turkey Trot costume photo from your run.  The SRS Board members will choose the winner!
