Shamrock Beer Run 5k & BrewFest Indy

Who is ready to Party Shamrock Style?  

*Join us for our 14th Year of Beer Drinking....

The 2026 event will again feature a Kick-A** DJ, Food Truck, Party Tent, Cornhole, Giant Beer Pong & of course plenty of BEEEER.  It’s going to be a SHAMROCKIN' BrewFest!!  

Start your 5K with a Toast of one Craft Beer sample then run/walk to the 1K for another Beer sample, same for the 2K, 3K, 4K and Finish with a Pint of Beer or You Can Drink a Pint Before the 5K event Starts... :)

This is a 21+ event only.  No strollers, no kids, no one under 21 admitted.

Race Day & BrewFest Schedule Saturday March 14:

1. 11:30am - 2:00pm Packet Pickup Opens at Military Park

2. 11:30am - Beer Starts Flowing at the BrewFest!!!

3. Staggered 5K Wave Start Between: 1:30 - 2:30pm

4. Last Call at 4:30pm

5. 5:00pm - The end of the day and time to say goodbye, please drive safely!  If your still here start helping us clean :)

Q: I cannot come, what are my options?  Can I get a refund?
A:  Sorry there are no refunds for any reason.  We offer 3 different options to choose from.

1) You may have your swag mailed ($20 Fee applies to cover shipping cost). Price is per person.

2) You may have a friend pick up your swag on race day or at packet pickup.

3) You may sell/give away your entry to a friend/family at no additional cost.

Q:  Are spectators allowed to enter the Brewfest area if they are not registered for the 5K?
A:  Yes, but all 21+ participants must purchase a 0.0K BrewFest Only Ticket (Spectator Pass - No 5K - No Beer Samples) to be able to enter the Brewfest area.  

Q:  What time does the 5K start?
A:  You choose your starting corral between 1:30pm - 2:30pm during registration. 

Q:  Will the race still happen if it is raining or snowing?
A:  Yes!!!  We will only delay for lightning or tornado.
 
Q:  Can my kids register for this 5K race?
A:  Yes, if they are 21+ :)
 
Q:  Is this course stroller-friendly?   May I push a stroller? 
A:  No, all participants must be 21+ to do the 5K. There is beer handed out on the 5K course.

Q:  Can my kids enter the Brewfest area?   
A:  Yes, if they are 21+ and registered for the 5K event! :)

Q:  Is this event dog-friendly?  Can I bring my dog? 
A:  Yes – and no charge:)  you know the rules… clean up. Please be respectful of other participants.

Q:  Are there Awards? 
A:  No, this is an untimed 5k event.

Q:  Are there water stops on the 5K course?
A:  Yes, water bottles will be available at some Beer stops.  You are welcome to carry a full bottle of water with you if you want. We have plenty of water bottles before and after the race included with your registration. Please dispose of your water bottles in a trash bin or recycle bin.

• Parking across from Military Park is CASH ONLY - $10.  

• There are parking garages at IUPUI that will take credit cards *but other parking rates do apply.  
• White River State Park has an underground parking garage that will take credit cards (front of the Indiana State Museum) *but other parking rates do apply.  

Sword/Shield Finisher's Medal = Equipt with a Bottle Opener and Magnetic Back (to stick on your Fridge)!
