Shamrock Beer Run & BrewFest Chicago at Busse Woods

The Epic Shamrock Beer Run 5k is back for another year of Beer Drinking!  Like Running or Walking?  Love awesome craft beer?  This event is for you!  Due to the popularity of this event, we have multiple wave start times between 11am-1pm (you'll pick your wave time during signup)  

Enjoy a pint of your favorite beer after your 5K!!!  Better yet, enjoy a pint before the 5K... Cheers to Drinking Beer!!!

5k Registration includes:

This is a 21+ event only.  No strollers, no kids, no one under 21 admitted.

*NEW THIS YEAR:  Due to restrictions by the forest preserve, there will be no beer samples along the route this year.  We will have a mini beer garden set up near the finish line and you will still be able to sample beers from all 5 craft breweries at the finish line, and participants still receive a pint of beer from their favorite brewer.

Race day pickup is available, but if you are able to attend packet pickup or send a friend we highly recommend picking up early to avoid the lines on race day. 

Check out these awesome Local Craft Brewers that will be featured at this year's event:

Start:  The race starts with a 3oz (optional) sample of Alter Brewing Company's Altercado Mexican Ale

1km:  Scorch that first kilometer and be rewarded with a 3oz sample of Scorched Earth's Giant Killer IPA

Turnaround:  Make a tight turn at the half way point and head back to the finish after a 3oz sample of Tighthead Brewing Co's Mechanic's Grove Maibock (German Lager)

4km:  prepare for an illuminating final kilometer after your 3oz sample of Illuminated Brew Work's Clurichuan Trap Irish Stout

Finish:  Thank God you finished and enjoy a 3oz sample of Church Street's Heavenly Helles

Post Race Brew Fest: Your Race bib will have a Beer Ticket on it that is good for a 16oz pint of your choosing from any of these amazing breweries!  Can't decide which one?  Additional beer tickets are available during registration

Toasty Cheese Food trucks will be on site until 1:30pm!
