You're invited to attend the 13th Annual Chamber of Commerce Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk that will take place on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Come out for a day of fun and racing in the Pulaski County area as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day ..... Lake Cumberland Style !!!
The Shamrock Shuffle welcomes participants of all ability levels, from runners who are beginning their annual running and fitness regimen to seasoned veterans. The course is a measured 5K race, and professional chip timing will be used to ensure race time accuracy.
Race participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
(Shirts will only be guaranteed for people who register before race day)
The Pulaski County Shamrock Shuffle is organized by the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce and held in Somerset.
The race will begin and end at The Chamber of Commerce office.
There will be a costume contest for "best dressed" ..... so go ahead and get your best St. Patrick's Day themed outfit ready for race day.
Proceeds from the race will go to support our local business community through Chamber programs.

January 1st - March 3rd = $25.00
March 4th - March 13th = $30.00
Race Day (March 15th) = $32.00
Chip timing will be used at this year's Shamrock Shuffle

Age Category Awards
Plaques will be awarded to the overall "Top 3 Runners" for both men and women.
Top finisher in each age group for both Male and Female will receive an awesome award medal. Age Overall race winners are removed from the age categories.
Age Groups:
Male and Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Teams:
The Fastest Team and the Largest Team will be awarded Plaques
Team must have, but are not limited to, 5 members.
Fastest Team Award will be based on the cumulative times of the fastest 5 finishers on each team.

Who will win the crown as the Fastest Kid in Town?
On Saturday, March 15th, the Shamrock Shuffle will introduce the 6th Annual “Fastest Kid in Town” race.
This year’s event combines a fun, fast, and competitive 5K race with a series of kids races that ultimately crowns the “Fastest Kid in Town.”
This kids-only, 50-yard race will take place at 9:30 a.m. before the Shamrock Shuffle begins at 10:00 a.m.
Participating runners will compete in four age categories: 3-4 years, 5-6-years, 7-8 years, 9-12 years. Medals for the "Top 3" fastest male and female runners of each category will be awarded. All participants will receive a race logo t-shirt for their efforts.
The cost of the “Fastest Kid in Town” is $10.00 with a commemorative race t-shirt guaranteed in the child’s size if registered before March 7th. All sign-ups after March 7th are $15 per kid and T-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
To sign up in person, you should visit the Chamber of Commerce Office in Downtown Somerset, 236 East Mt. Vernon Street, weekdays between 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

POT OF GOLD
Back by popular demand at the 13th Annual Shamrock Shuffle is the “Pot of Gold Shamrock Hunt” sponsored by Walmart of Somerset. Somewhere on the course Shamrocks will be handed out to every 10th participant. If you get one, take it to the “Walmart Redemption Tent” where you can exchange your shamrock for a prize. There are some really great prizes that will include a 55” TV, $100 Walmart Gift Card, $50 Walmart Gift Card, multiple $10 Walmart gift cards, and free 2026 Shamrock Shuffle race entries.
Additional Details:
- Approximately 10% of participants will find Shamrocks, so not everyone will find the POT OF GOLD!
- You must not open your shamrock until you complete the event and return to the WALMART POT OF GOLD REDEMPTION TENT. If you open your shamrock beforehand you will be disqualified. Only unopened shamrocks will be redeemed.
- Only one shamrock per participant, so if you return to THE WALMART POT OF GOLD REDEMPTION TENT with more than one shamrock you will be disqualified.
- You must be a registered participant of the 5K event in order to participate in the POT OF GOLD HUNT. You will be required to show your bib when presenting your shamrock at the WALMART REDEMPTION TENT.
