Shamrock Shuffle 5K & Fun Walk presented by Semper Gratus.

This year, we proudly celebrate 10 years of the Shamrock Shuffle, and we’re inviting the entire community to be part of the fun!

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, pushing a stroller, walking with friends, or simply showing up to support a great cause, the Shamrock Shuffle is for everyone!

The one-of-a-kind certified course weaves through West Leechburg, starting and finishing at the West Leechburg Fire Department Social Hall and delivers the perfect mix of movement, laughter, and community spirit.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
• Start Time: Both events begin at 10:00 AM
• 5K Run: The 5K run is for serious or casual runners of all ages and will be chip timed by GCXC Race Timing & Management.
• 1-Mile Fun Walk: Untimed, relaxed, and perfect for all ages!

COSTUMES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND LEASHED FURRY FRIENDS ARE WELCOMED!

Expect music, refreshments, snacks, and family-friendly surprises including balloon art and character appearances that make this a can’t-miss community celebration.

To date, Semper Gratus. has raised over $500,000 benefiting a number of nonprofits including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Cerebral Palsy, Alzheimer’s Association, STXBP1, Down Syndrome Association, Autism-Pittsburgh, and Familylinks.

Semper Gratus., Latin for Always Grateful, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports pediatric patients affected with cancer, disease, or disabilities in addition to kindness initiatives.

• WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN? A Virtual Run is an event you can complete Anytime/Anywhere! There isn't a set time or place since virtual runs are meant for you to complete at your convenience and at your own pace.
• HOW DO I SUBMIT MY TIME? - After completing your Semper Gratus 5K run or walk, simply go the link below, click the blue submit results button, log in to your RunSignUp account and upload your results.  SUBMIT RESULTS HERE
• IS THERE A SPECIFIC APP WE NEED TO USE TO TRACK OUR TIME? You can track your run with any app, watch, or fitness device that you would like.
• CAN I COMPLETE MY VIRTUAL RUN BEFORE I HAVE RECEIVED MY GEAR? You don't have to wait to receive your gear in the mail.  You can complete your run at any time.

Grab your green hat, your lucky charms, and your best dance moves....or no dance moves at all - just come have fun and participate in the games!  Join us for our St. Patrick’s Day–themed party for a cause, as Semper Gratus. celebrates 11 years of turning gratitude into action.

This isn’t just a party.

It’s a movement rooted in a small town with a very loud voice.

💚 Why We Do This

Semper Gratus., Latin for Always Grateful., is a certified 501(c)3 social do-good organization supporting pediatric patients impacted by cancer, disease, and disabilities alongside other acts of kindness that lift families when they need it most.

This past year, we had the privilege of surrounding a truly special family in with love, support, and unforgettable moments. Centered around Jack, diagnosed with Level 3 Autism, and Lena, living with STXBP1, the day became something much bigger.  It was a celebration of awareness, inclusion, and acceptance.

While Jack and Lena were our guests of honor, we made sure the entire family felt the strength of the Semper Gratus. community.

Because when one family rises, we all rise.

Hosted by Semper Gratus., this 21+ fundraiser includes:

All participants, who register by March 6th, 2026, are guaranteed to receive a commemorative Semper Gratus race shirt.

 

Awards will be given out at the conclusion of the 5k race.   There are NO awards for the walk.   

All participants are chip timed.  Overall top 3 male and female winners are based on the gun start and who crosses the finish line first. 

Age group awards are based on chip time results.  There are no duplicate awards.
