The SIDS Awareness 5k Run/Walk is an easy 5K path that will provide vital education about SIDS awareness and prevention. This race is in remembrance of Landen Philpot, who passed away from SIDS at 3 months old. All profits from the race support the Landen Philpot Nursing Scholarship. There are (2) $1,000 scholarships awarded to area students pursuing a nursing degree focusing on obstetrics or pediatrics.
