Sigue la Tormenta - Follow the Storm 5k/10k + 1 Mile Fun Run

Join Move Conmigo (formerly No Surrender Running Club) for its 3rd annual 5k & 10k race + 1 Mile Fun Run and celebrate movement as a community! The event will start and end at the Kroc Center and follow the Plaster Creek Trail.

For 15 years, Move Conmigo has been the only West Michigan organization that builds and expands access to movement for all by breaking down barriers to sport and play. By doing this, the organization knows it can empower youth, strengthen families, connect communities, and build representation in sport. With its 3rd annual race, Move Conmigo aims to center communities of color, break down barriers to participation in running events, create a fun environment where community members can move alongside one another, and build representation in running.

¡Únete a Move Conmigo (anteriormente No Surrender Running Club) en su tercera carrera anual de 5k y 10k, además de una carrera recreativa de 1 milla, y celebremos el movimiento en comunidad! El evento comenzará y terminará en el Kroc Center y seguirá el recorrido del Plaster Creek Trail.

Desde hace 15 años, Move Conmigo ha sido la única organización en el oeste de Michigan dedicada a crear y ampliar el acceso al movimiento para todos, derribando las barreras que limitan el deporte y el juego. Al hacerlo, la organización sabe que puede empoderar a los jóvenes, fortalecer a las familias, conectar a las comunidades y fomentar la representación en el ámbito deportivo. Con su tercera carrera anual, Move Conmigo tiene como objetivo poner en el centro a las comunidades de color, derribar las barreras de participación en eventos de running, crear un entorno divertido donde los miembros de la comunidad puedan moverse juntos y fomentar la representación en el deporte de las carreras.

7:30 AM – Registration table opens
7:30 AM – Emcee begins
7:30 AM – Merch store opens
8:15 AM – Participants to starting line
8:25 AM – National anthem
8:30 AM – Race starts!!!

Please do not park in the main Kroc Center lot off of Division, as this is reserved for Kroc Center members. Parking is available in the lot off of Alger or on nearby neighborhood streets, circled on the map below. The start/finish area will be located near the restrooms by the Alger lot, as highlighted by the star on the map. Remember that you will need to give yourself enough time to park AND get your bib, so get there early!!

Every participant will receive a finisher medal!

Special awards for:

• Top male and female in the 5k and 10k
• Top male and female in each age group (Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
