How to defer your registration to 2023!

Step 1: You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile   


Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Skinny Raven Turkey Trot and select "Manage Registration". 


Step 3: You will be brought to your Turkey Trot Registration information page. Here you will select "Defer Registration" in the above menu bar. 


Step 4: Once you are at the Defer Registration page, you will then select "Confirm Deferral".


Step 5: Congrats! You have officially deferred your registration to the 2023 Skinny Raven Turkey Trot. Once registration for that opens we will be in contact about how to register.

*All deferment request must be made prior to November 24th, 2022, after which the option to transfer will expire.

How to request a refund for your 2020 Skinny Raven Turkey Trot registration

Step 1: You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile   

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Skinny Raven Turkey Trot and select "Manage Registration". 



Step 3: You will be brought to your Turkey Trot Registration information page. Here you will select "Request Refund" in the above menu bar. 



Step 4: Once you are on the Request a Refund page, you will then select "Confirm Refund" if you paid for your registration. Or you will select "Cancel Registration" if your registration was free. *In this example we are requesting a refund for a free registration.

Step 5: Congrats! You have officially requested a refund for your registration to the 2021 Skinny Raven Turkey Trot or you have officially cancelled your registration. Refunds take 3-5 business days to fully process.

*All refund or deferment request must be made prior to November 26th, 2020, after which the option for a refund or transfer will expire.

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Skinny Raven Turkey Trot or Mini Turkey and select "Manage Registration".


Step 3: You will be brought to your Turkey Trot Registration information page. Here you will select "Transfer Event" in the above menu bar. 


Step 4: Once you are at the Transfer Event page, you will then select "Start Transfer". 


Step 5: You will then be brought back to the registration page, and you will proceed through the registration process.

Transferring from one Virtual event to another will be free.

You will be guided through a new waiver and specific registration questions regarding the Virtual event!

Once you get to the final page you will hit "Complete Registration". After you have selected "Complete Registration" you have successfully transferred your event, CONGRATS!

How to manage question responses including bib pickup decision.

Step 1: You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile   

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Skinny Raven Turkey Trot or Mini Turkey and select "Manage Registration".


Step 3: You will be brought to your Turkey Trot Registration information page. Here you will select "Questions" in the above menu bar.


Step 4: Once you are on the Question management page, you will then update any or all of your question responses and select "Update Responses".

**If you change how you wish to receive your packet. From 'Pick Up at bib pickup' too 'I want to have it shipped'. You will need to update your shipping address. You can find a How-To guide on this process HERE!

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Turkey Trot and select "Manage Registration". 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Turkey Trot Registration information page. Here you will select "T-Shirt" in the above menu bar. 

Step 4: You will then be able to use the drop down menu to update your shirt size, and then you can select CONTINUE. 

- What is a Virtual Event?

A virtual event is a walking/running event that you can complete anytime/anyplace! The best part of a virtual event is convenience you decide what works best for you.

To complete your distance you can run your favorite route on the trails, in your neighborhood, at the gym, under the morning sunrise or under the late night sunset.

- How long do I have to complete the Virtual Skinny Raven Turkey Trot?

You will only have Thanksgiving to complete your Virtual Turkey Trot or Virtual Mini Turkey, November 25th, 2021.

- How long do I have to upload my Results?

You will have from November 25th, 2021 to upload your results.

For the Turkey Trot we will be giving away prizes to top finishers (overall, & age group). 

The Top 3 Boy & Girls in the Mini Turkey will win a pie. There aren’t any age class awards for the Mini Turkey.

We will ask for GPS verification for any Overall or Age Group winners, so be sure to record your effort using GPS (Garmin, Strava).

- How will I pick up my event packet?

For Participants there is a question during registration that will tell us if you want to pick up your swag at a packet pickup. Or if you want your swag mailed to you. If you missed this step during the registration process, you can use this How-To-Guide to go back in and answer that question!

If you want your swag shipped you can enter your shipping address during the registration process. If you accidentally skipped this step you can update this information by following this How-To-Guide!

- Packets pickups will be:

Saturday, November 20th, 2021 from 11:00am - 3:00 pm @ Downtown Skinny Raven
Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021 from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm @ Downtown Skinny Raven

- How do I upload my Results?

There are two ways to upload your results! 

You can upload your results Manually:

- Navigate to the Results Page, HERE!
- Select, SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
- Search for your registration by First & Last Name OR Email & Birth Date
- Select, SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
- Enter your time manually or by uploading a .TIF or .GPX file.

You can also use the RaceJoy app. This can be downloaded on any mobile device. Here is a link with information about RaceJoy: https://www.racejoy.net/   

Race Joy allows you to:
- Automatically track your progress and distance on any course you choose.
- Automatically post your results to the online event results
- Allow your family and friends to track your progress and send you cheers.
- Hear GPS progress alerts and pre-set cheers as you complete along your route

- Do I need to submit results?

You do not have to submit a time. You can indicate that you completed the run without providing a time. 

- Do I have a bib?

Each virtual participant will have a bib, physical bibs will be available along with virtual bibs. Bibs will be assigned at the bib pickups. Then anyone who didn't pick up a bib will be assigned a number on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021.

Log into your RunSignup profile and view and/or download your personalized virtual bib.You will also receive a real, paper bib with registration.

- Virtual Run Safety Policy

Participants must abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)'s recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and attest to having read the CDC's guidance at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html .  Participants must also follow local, state and federal regulations regarding preventing the spread of COVID-19 for their region. Participants must abide by all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road.  If there is no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available participants must run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic. 

How to update shipping address for 2022 Skinny Raven Turkey Trot

Step 1: You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile     

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Skinny Raven Turkey Trot and select "Manage Registration". 


Step 3: You will be brought to your Turkey Trot Registration information page. Here you will select "Shipping" in the above menu bar.


Step 4: You can then enter or update your shipping address, then select 'Update Address'.
