Skippin & Sippin PHun Walk – Lakes Area Parrot Heads

Skippin & Sippin is bringing the PHun north!

Proudly partnered with Skippin & Sippin, Inc. and Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc., Lakes Area Parrot Heads will host their inaugural Skippin & Sippin PHun Walk: Bras on the Beach on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Hub 41 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Fund, with event proceeds specifically earmarked for patient care. Every registration, donation, and dollar raised helps turn PHun and PHriendship into meaningful support close to home.

This chapter-led event brings PHun, PHriendship, and Purpose together in support of local breast cancer patients.

What began as the dream of one remarkable Mermaid Sister has grown into a meaningful tradition rooted in hope, PHriendship, community, and giving back. This year marks an exciting milestone as Lakes Area Parrot Heads brings the first Skippin & Sippin PHun Walk outside of its beloved home in Gulf Shores to the Detroit Lakes community.

This ½-mile PHun Walk is about more than simply gathering together. It is about celebrating survivors, honoring those we have lost, supporting those still fighting, and bringing a community together to make a difference for those impacted by breast cancer.

Decorate and wear your best bra and join the PHun throughout the afternoon with:

Registered participants receive a drink voucher!

Register individually, gather your PHriends and create a team, or join an existing team. Participants and teams are also encouraged to PHundraise and help make an even greater impact!
