About Spring SOTA Run
100% of the proceeds from the race will go to the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), a non-profit student organization that serves to promote professional development through education, leadership opportunities, networking, volunteer activities, social activities, and fundraising. SOTA also provides annual funding to first year occupational therapy students to represent UNC as Assembly of Student Delegates (ASD) representatives at the annual American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) conference and funds the MSOT graduation ceremony.
As part of our mission, we hope to provide the community with an opportunity to build relationships, connection, and fitness through shared opportunities. If interested in learning more about how recreational sports can impact your social connectedness and belonging check out the master student research poster presentation on April 25. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be gifted to the SOTA organization.
