About St. Charles Girls Volleyball
St. Charles Girls Volleyball is returning for the 2026 school year for girls in 5th through 8th grades!
Due to the increase in numbers from last season, we are excited to offer girls volleyball for 5th–8th grade, with plans to have two teams this fall:
-Varsity Team: Designed for girls who are committed to the sport and want to further develop their volleyball skills through a more competitive level of play. This team will most likely be 7th and 8th graders and can include more experienced 6th graders. Weekend tournament games will be scheduled as well as games with local teams.
-JV Team: Focused on teaching the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment while helping players build confidence and a love for the game. This team will most likely be 5th and 6th graders but can include new and developing 7th and 8th graders. Scrimmage games with local teams will be scheduled as available.
However, we need 2 coaches for our JV team in order to go ahead with this plan.
If you have volleyball experience or simply enjoy working with kids and are willing to help, we would love to hear from you! Coaching is a great way to make a positive impact while helping young players learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and encouraging environment.
Coaches must attend a Virtus training class and get fingerprinted. If you're interested or would like more information, please contact Angie Wojnar at awojnar@comcast.net.
PRACTICES: Mondays and/or Thursdays @ Holy Cross Prep Academy starting August (exact time is TBD).
All details are being finalized at this time. Check back for updates
