• • START LINE: Main Street (Front of Appalachian Wireless Arena)
  • START on Main Street heading North
  • [0.30 mi] — TURN RIGHT onto the Burlin Combs Bridge.
  • [0.45 mi] — TURN RIGHT at the end of the bridge onto South Bypass Road.
  • [1.50 mi] — PROCEED STRAIGHT, then TURN RIGHT onto Burchett Way (across from Pikeville Medical Center).
  • [1.65 mi] — TURN RIGHT (North) onto Hambley Blvd.
  • [2.25 mi] — CONTINUE STRAIGHT on Hambley Blvd until you reach 8th Street.
  • [2.35 mi] — TURN RIGHT onto 8th Street.
  • [2.40 mi] — TURN RIGHT onto Scott Avenue (running "backwards" against traffic flow).
  • [2.75 mi] — TURN RIGHT onto 2nd Street.
  • [3.00 mi] — TURN LEFT onto Huffman Avenue.
  • [3.05 mi] — TURN LEFT onto Main Street.

  • START on Main Street heading North
  • TURN RIGHT at the intersection of Main Street and Scott Avenue to cross the Combs Bridge.
  • TURN RIGHT immediately at the end of the bridge onto South Bypass Road (use caution transitioning from bridge to sidewalk)
  • PROCEED STRAIGHT on South Bypass Road, traveling South toward the downtown entry point.
  • TURN RIGHT at the intersection of Huffman Avenue.
  • TURN RIGHT onto Main Street.
  • FINISH heading North on Main Street, arriving back at the Appalachian Wireless Arena.
  • FINISH LINE: Appalachian Wireless Arena

To ensure the safety of all participants and to maintain our permits with the City of Pikeville, please adhere to the following:

• Important Course Rules
• • Sidewalk Policy: For your safety, runners must remain on the sidewalk at all times once you leave the Main Street start area.
  • Timing & Compliance: To maintain a fair and safe race environment, staying on the designated sidewalk path is required to receive an official finish time. Please note that leaving the sidewalk for the roadway (except while on Main Street) will result in a disqualification.
  • Intersections: These are rolling stops due to the time of day and access to area businesses.  At times runners may be asked to stop at the intersection.
  • Main Street Exception: Runners have full use of the roadway on Main Street during the start and the final sprint to the finish.
