St. Patrick's Day Dash race registration will open on Wednesday, December 17.

For 24 hours, Registration will only cost $24

Join us for this Seattle tradition, 42 years running! The St. Patrick's Day Dash, taking place Sunday, March 15, will once again call Seattle Center home.

Starting at 9:00am, 5K participants will take off from Seattle Center and complete an out and back jaunt along Aurora Ave before returning to the finish line at Seattle Center. 

After your Dash, you'll be greeted by the St. Pats Post Dash Bash, presented by Guinness. Inside Fisher Pavillion, for all those 21 and over, we'll have live music, traditional Irish Dancers, food and of course Guinness to celebrate your St. Patrick's Day. From 9:00am - 12:00pm the Post Dash Bash will also include giveaways, costume contests and free family fun with the Irish Heritage Club Festival (happening inside the Seattle Center Armory)

The St. Patrick's Day Dash is one of the Northwest's BEST running parties and largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Seattle. 

Get yourself registered and come celebrate the Irish in all of us at the St. Patrick's Day Dash, taking place March 15, 2026 at Seattle Center.

We've added multiple packet pickup options for all participants to choose from with the intent to get your Dash gear as easy as possible including packet pickup at Brooks Trailhead including a free group run, Everett pickup, downtown location at Amazon and Super Jock n' Jill pre-race pick up and event day pickup! Brooks Trailhead Tuesday Packet Pickup

Dates: Tuesday, March 10
Time: 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: Brooks Trailhead Fremont - 3400 Stone Way N, Seattle WA, 98103

Join us for an early week packet pickup at Brooks Trailhead in Fremont. We'll be there from 4:00pm - 7:00pm to provide all Dash participants an early packet pickup option.

Along with pickup up packets at Brooks, we'll also offer a 15% registration discount to anyone who joins us at this location. In addition, Brooks will have all those last minute shoe, clothing and more needs right there to snag before you Dash!

Brooks Group Run! Not only will we be there from 4-7 for packet pickup, Brooks will have their Tuesday Group Run happening that night as well. Come in, snag your St. Pats packet and then stick around for the Tuesday Group Run happening from 6pm - 7pm that night. Get 1 more run in with a group of all abilities for a casual run along the Burke Gilman Trail!

Shawn O’Donnell’s Wednesday Happy Hour Pickup

Join us for happy hour at Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill & Irish Pub in Everett on Wednesday March 11. We’ll be there from 4:00pm – 7:00pm to provide all Dash participants an early packet pickup option.

Stop by Shawn’s to pick up your race packet (event shirt, participant bib, timing chip) on Wednesday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Anyone who picks up their packet Wednesday will receive $5 discount off their bill while there. In addition, everyone who picks up Wednesday will also be entered into a drawing to win one of three pairs of Brooks Shoes or Brooks Merchandise. Know someone that still hasn’t registered? Register at Shawn’s and receive a 15% discount!

Amazon – Nitro Plaza Friday Packet Pickup

Date: Friday, March 13
Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Location: Amazon – Nitro Plaza, 2250 7th Ave, Seattle, 98121

Join us Friday in South Lake Union for an early packet pickup located at Amazon’s Nitro Plaza, right by the Amazon Spheres. Avoid long lines and join us for happy hour. Starting at 4pm, Amazon will also offer FREE parking to all participants arriving for pickup in any of the Amazon garages. No need for a code or coupon, gates will be up, just pull right in! After – stick around and start celebrating your Dash early at one of the many fun restaurants within the Amazon campus, offering great happy hour deals, yummy food and great drinks!

Keep the party going, celebrate with a pint of Guinness at your favorite Pub!

The event will start as three mass starts, 10 minutes apart at 9:00am, 9:10am and 9:20am. The event will start on Seattle Center grounds near the international fountain. To ensure all participants have a great race, please line up according to your anticipated race pace within your Dashing Wave (9:00am), Jogging Wave (9:10am), Strolling Wave (9:20am).

Dashing Wave (9:00AM) – The dashing wave is built for the runners of the group. Those planning to run the entire race and get to the Guinness Beer Garden first! The dashers will all receive a timing chip as part of their race.

Jogging Wave (9:10AM) – The jogging wave is built for those that care about their time but do not plan to “race” the dash. Maybe you’d like to run with all your friends and family but don’t plan to be overly competitive about it. Maybe you want to compare your time to previous years… but your main goal is to get back to the Guinness Beer Garden and enjoy a few pints before continuing your St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. If so, this is your wave!

Strolling Wave (9:20AM) – The strolling wave is an untimed wave starting at 9:20am.  If your plan is to stroll on in, maybe after a Guinness with your breakfast and cruise along the St. Pats Dash with family or friends before spending a few hours listening to live music in the Guinness Beer Garden, then this is the wave for you! This wave starts at 9:20am and will NOT be chip timed. A great wave for walkers as well.  

All participants in both waves will receive timing chips so all will see their finish time!

FREE Parking is available for all participants, thanks to our partners, @South Lake Union and Amazon! All Amazon garages within the South Lake Union Area will be open and free to all participants. No code or coupon needed, just pull in, park and head over to the St. Patrick’s Day Dash. All parking lots are within 4-7 blocks from the start line. There’s more than a dozen parking garages in the South Lake Union area that are less than .2 miles from Seattle Center! See the map below for the exact garages and locations.

Ample street parking is also available throughout the neighborhoods as well as Seattle Center parking garages will be open. Please pay attention to all “no-parking” signs as City of Seattle will be towing vehicles off the race route.

If you plan to stick around for the Post-Dash Bash, please drive responsibly and plan ahead for rides home if needed.

GEAR CHECK
Gear check will be available near the International Fountain from 7:00am – 10:15am. Please pick up your checked gear immediately after your run. Our volunteers want to enjoy the Post-Dash Bash as well!

With the St. Patrick's Day Dash fast approaching, we know that life happens, and sometimes plans change. That's ok, if you need to edit your registration, defer to next year's event, transfer to a friend... or another option - we've got you covered!

I can't attend the race, Can I transfer my entry to a friend/family member? Yes! You sure can. It's simple, just sign into your account with the above link, then follow the steps to transfer to your friend HERE

I cannot attend the race in person, can I transfer to a virtual entry? Sure can! You can do that HERE

I'd like to defer my entry to 2026, How Do I Do That? You can do that by logging into your account and following the steps prompted. You can log in to your account by following the directions HERE

Event transfers, transferring to another person and race deferrals will only be allowed through 3/13. After this, transfers will not be allowed.

Is this Race 21+ Only?
Nope! All ages are welcome to participate but only over 21+ will be able to enter the Guinness Post Dash Bash. The Irish Heritage Club will be having an all ages celebration within the Armory after the Dash takes place if you’re looking for Irish fun for the whole family!

Is There a Time Limit?
All participants need to be finished with the race by 10:15am as Aurora Ave will need to be reopened.

Can Someone Other Than Me Pick Up My Race Packet?
Yep, no problem at all! We just need their name (we cannot look up by team name)

Where do I leave my “stuff” while participating?
We’ll provide “gear check” near the international fountain. This will only be staffed until 10:15am. Please pick up your gear immediately after your race. Volunteers want to enjoy the post-dash bash as well!

Event Shirts, What are They?
All participants will receive a Brooks Podium short sleeve tech top.

What Other Swag Items do participants receive?
Along with the race shirt, all participants will also receive downloadable FREE participant photos provided by @SouthLakeUnion, so when you see a camera, smile!

AND MEDALS! New for the 40th anniversary of the St. Patrick’s Day Dash, all participants will receive a finisher medal after their run/walk.

Are There Age Group Awards?

Yes! All participants will receive an electronic downloadable finisher certificate with overall and age group placings (Age Groups will be increments of 5 years, example 14-19, 20-24, etc.)

Are Strollers/Baby Joggers Allowed?
Yes – We just ask you to start to the side or back of your group to not interfere with other participants. Don’t forget, the Guinness Beer Garden is 21+ only though, no exceptions.

How About Dogs/Pets?
Sure! As long as they’re on a leash. Please start to the side to not entangle other participants. Pets will not be welcome inside the Guinness Beer Garden though.

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are non-refundable. We will offer deferrals to the 2027 St. Patrick’s Day Dash or a change to virtual entry if you cannot attend.

Little dashers, 10 and under, will complete a 1K(ish) loop within Seattle Center Grounds. Parents can run with their kids without registering. Then, kids can complete the 5K course with their families after the 1K Leprechaun Lap without registering for the 5K

Packet Pickup Options – Kids can pick up their race packets (including shirt, bib & timing chip) at any of the other packet pickup options listed on the registration page.

8:30AM Leprechaun Lap Start – Kids Leprechaun Lap will start at the same start location as the adults, above Fisher Pavilion.

Kids will receive an event shirt, timing chip, finisher medal and free participant photos!

 
The Dash is moving to South Lake Union! That’s right – we have a new course! In an effort to add more uniqueness to the St. Patrick’s Day Dash and in partnership with the City of Seattle, Discover South Lake Union and Amazon, we’re adding more miles through the city!

The St. Patrick’s Day Dash will once again take place at the Seattle Center. The St. Patrick’s Day Dash course will start under the shadow of the Space Needle within the Seattle Center. Once exiting, participants will wind their way to 7th Ave, heading south and will loop around the Amazon Campus featuring the Amazon Spheres and South Lake Union neighborhood business district where they’ll be greeted by the Brooks Cheer Zone and other fun elements before an out and back section on Aurora Ave. Once completed, participants will Dash to the finish line at the Seattle Center International Fountain, just steps from the Guinness Post Bash Dash! FREE ST PATS ENTRIES! – Again this year, we’re offering FREE entries to all participants!

After you've registered for the St. Patrick's Day Dash, you’ll receive a “referral” link in the registration confirmation page and via your confirmation email. This is YOUR specific registration link.

All you have to do is share with your friends. Share it via email, text, Facebook, instagram, pigeon carrier - it doesn't matter how you share it... just share it. Once your friend registers for the Dash (using your referral link) you’ll get a free entry!

5 friends, that's all it takes - All you need are 5 people to use your referral link and we’ll automatically refund your entry fee, whatever you paid, we’ll refund it! Just find 5 friends and you get a FREE St. Pats entry!
