Join STARability Foundation and Event Chair Madison Nehls for our 9th Annual Run, Walk & Roll 5K at beautiful Baker Park in Naples!
This year’s event is extra special as we celebrate 10 years of the Trailblazer Academy with the STARability Foundation, a decade of creating opportunities, building independence, and empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to achieve their goals. We invite everyone who has been part of our journey including participants, families, staff, volunteers, supporters, and community partners to come together for this unforgettable milestone celebration.
As STARability’s second-largest annual fundraising event, the Run, Walk & Roll 5K brings our community together for an inclusive, family-friendly, and dog-friendly day of fun, connection, and celebration. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps support programs that allow individuals throughout Southwest Florida to build meaningful relationships, engage in their communities, and thrive.

Awards
What awards are given?
Awards will be given out for the following:
- Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
- Top STAR - Awarded to STARability participant that places 1st overall
- Most Spirited - Awarded to a team or individual based on costumes, “loudest” race attire/shoes, team name, props, enthusiasm, etc.
- Most Decorated Wheels - Awarded to the person with the most decorated wheelchair, stroller, adapted bike, etc.
- Top Fundraising Individual
- Top Dog - Awarded to the dog and owner team that finishes with the fastest time
Bring Fido
Our Run, Walk & Roll 5K is dog friendly! We encourage you to bring your furry friend(s) along, but we please ask that they are up-to-date on all vaccinations and on a non-retractable leash for the safety of all in attendance.
Chip Timing
Florida Race Day will be using state-of-the-art and environmentally-friendly bib chips that create immediate results. Your timing chip is attached to your race number. Specific for those who wish to track their time: Do not remove this tag, fold or wrinkle your race number. Do not cover your race number (tag) with a jacket. Simply pin all four corners to the front of your event t-shirt.
Important note: Runners will begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Walkers and rollers to follow at 8:15 a.m.

Join a Team
Whether you fundraise with your company, friends or family, creating or joining an existing fundraising team can add more camaraderie and meaning to your event experience. The top fundraiser will be recognized at the start of the race and in race communications following the event.

Prohibited
The use of the following is prohibited at the race: bicycles, roller blades, skates, hoverboards and skateboards.
