The City of Port Orange is proud to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 2026. The City will join communities across the country in commemorating the moment our nation was born and the courage and service of the countless patriots that fought for the establishment of the United States of America.

13 Miles for 13 Colonies
50 Miles for 50 States
250 Miles for 250 Years
Log miles between March 4th and July 4th to earn your America 250 medal! This is a virtual miles challenge, with racers reporting their miles and times through RunSignUp. You can run it all in one session, or run one mile at a time until you reach your goal. After registration, you'll receive a link with instructions on how to log your miles.
All entries include a finisher medal and a shirt. Pickup available at the Port Orange 4th of July Spectacular or at the Port Orange Parks & Recreation office after July 4th. Shipping available within the contiguous United States for a fee.
Top Finishers
The top finishers will be those who complete the total distance first.
We will recognize the top 3 male and female finishers at the 4th of July Spectacular at City Center Park on July 4th.
