Join us for one of the most unique 5K experiences in Western New York as we come together to Run the Runway at Dusk at Jamestown Airport on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Whether you're a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or prefer to walk, this event is for everyone. Experience the excitement of moving down an airport runway as the sun sets and the runway lights begin to glow, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of hope, remembrance, and community.

The evening kicks off with our 5K Walk at 6:30 PM, followed by the 5K Run at 6:45 PM. Participants are encouraged to wear glow gear and help light up the runway as we take steps together to break the silence surrounding suicide and mental health.

Where else can you run or walk a 5K on an airport runway at dusk? As the sun sets and the runway lights come to life, participants will experience an evening unlike any other while supporting a cause that impacts every community.

Family members, friends, and supporters are encouraged to join the experience as spectators. The airport's observation deck provides a unique vantage point to watch participants take to the runway and cheer them on throughout the evening.

This event is more than a race. It is an opportunity to honor loved ones, support those who are struggling, and remind one another that hope, connection, and community matter.

All proceeds benefit the Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County and help support suicide loss support groups, the Sudden Loss Care Team, suicide prevention education, community outreach, and programs that strengthen hope and connection throughout our community.
