Strides in Recovery Hike to the Hollywood Sign

Join us in supporting sobriety one stride at a time. Enjoy an up and back hike to the iconic Hollywood Sign. No medals. No chip timing. No swag. And no fees!

This free community-building event is hosted by Strides in Recovery. We are a local nonprofit which helps newly sober individuals grow physically, emotionally and mentally stronger so they can do their best at the hard work of recovery. We achieve these results by coaching people in Los Angeles County addiction treatment programs to complete events ranging from 5Ks to full marathons.

Suggested arrival time: 7:30am

Hike start time: 8am

Strides in Recovery maintains a "healthy habits" policy at all of our events. Please show respect for your body and your recovery by refraining from smoking or vaping while participating in the Fun Run.

Many of the participants in our program do not have running shoes.  If you have any gently used (no holes) running shoes you'd like to donate, we will happily accept them. 

Please tie the shoes together, label them with the size, and leave the soles and laces in.
