2025 Sponsor Info
Teal Diva is a Carolinas based non-profit created by a survivor of ovarian cancer and is focused on survivors of not only ovarian cancer, but other gynecologic cancers as well. Teal Diva focuses on the mental and emotional health of those affected by a gynecologic cancer. Our goal is to meet our community where they are by connecting with newly diagnosed women, survivors, and their support network. Through a range of programs including active treatment support, celebrating survivorship, and honoring legacies, we aim to provide strength through connection and empower individuals with vital knowledge about gynecologic cancers.
We are not specifically targeting the tumor. There are a lot of amazing organizations and people working on research. Our core focus is on the mental and emotional health of those effected by gynecologic cancers. Our community outreach is designed to bring women together outside of the clinic as well as educate young women on the signs and symptoms of the disease.
We are requesting sponsorship for our 11th Annual 5k for Ovarian and Gynecologic Cancers on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The event will be held at McAlpine Park located at 8711 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC. We are expecting at least 1,000 people in attendance. Our events seek to create an atmosphere of celebration as well as offer support to those who have lost a loved one to a gynecologic cancer. The events are cause-based meaning most of our supporters have been impacted by a gynecologic cancer or work in healthcare or pharmaceuticals. Proceeds from the 5k will allow Teal Diva to continue making a difference in the lives of those within the communities we serve through quality-of-life programming and community advocacy!
Sponsorship levels are below.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to your Teal Diva contact with any questions. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,

Why Awareness Matters
Awareness is often the first step toward early detection, better outcomes, and stronger advocacy. Your voice, your story, your participation in events like our 5K fuels programs that help women navigate diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.
Awareness is key and advocacy can save lives. Since some gynecologic cancers, like ovarian, have no reliable early detection test, it's crucial to know the symptoms and speak up.
Visit our website to view and download our free GYN cancer awareness toolkits — and help us spread life-saving information.

In Person 5k
Welcome to Charlotte’s Only Gynecologic Cancer 5K
Celebrating our 12th year - the Teal Diva 5K is more than miles on a course, it’s a gathering of hearts.
Gyn cancer survivors come to celebrate their strength. Families come to support the women they love. Some come carrying grief. Some come seeking understanding. All come with purpose.
The energy is electric, emotional, and deeply human. This event is for every story — the ones still being written, the ones finding their footing, and the ones we hold tightly in memory.
At Teal Diva, we honor. We remember. We celebrate. We never forget.
And on this day, we do it together.
