About Texas Tough 5k, 10k & 10 Mile

Welcome to the Original Texas Tough 10k! Voted best 10k in the South by Competitor Magazine 2013 & 2014!

The race is organized by E-Dragon Productions and is one of the toughest race courses in Texas. In its 12th year the road race has become one of the "must do" Texas races.  This event is more than just a race and takes place in Eisenhower Park

1. Where is the event going to be held?

The event will be hosted at Eisenhower park this year. Brand New Location Still Texas Tough Hills. Check out the location to find directions. 

2. What is the course

Each course is posted on top for you to follow. All course will have plenty of hills until your heart desires. You will be glad to cross the finish line when the course torture is over. 

3. Do we receive a shirt?

Yes all participants pre-register by 2 weeks prior to the event will receive our amazing sublimated running shirts and the size they want. All the 10 miler runners will have the option to pick our top of the line singlets. Register soon to make sure you get your size reserved. 

4. Do we receive a medal?

E-Dragon productions always makes sure that we plan to try to get all our pre registered runners a medal for the race. Our current projected number is 300 for this years event. Register now. 

5. Is this event Chip timed?

All 5k and 10k Runners will be officially timed by IAAP on race day. You will be able to pick up that bib at our pre race packet pick up. Please click on the link below to make sure you know what your bib is before coming to packet pick up, if you have to pick for a friend who cannot make pre-race packet pick up please bring a picture of their ID.

6. Do you have age Groups?

Yes our 1st, 2nd, 3rd runner in each age group leaves with an edragon productions coins, 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 plus for both male and female. Overall awards for male and female. Masters awards for Male and female.

7. What time does the race start?

We have three events. The 10 miler event 7:45am, the 10k begins at 8:00am and the 5k begins 8:05 but we will also have a rolling schedule so if for some reason we are delayed we will keep you informed. Promise your race director will do the best possible decision to make sure you are out on the course as soon as possible. 

8. Will you have bathrooms at the event?

We will have plenty of restrooms at our Eisenhower pavillion for all of our runners. 

9. Do you have pre-race packet pick up or race day packet pick up?

10. Do you have a virtual race options?

Yes if you still want to earn your medal and shirt but would like to run at the convenience of your time  you can sign up and we will ship the packet included with your registration. 

11. Are you going to have Race Medals for participants? (I really like medals)

Our E-dragon medals are pretty amazing and every year we try to do the best medal possible. This year it is a beautiful medal for you guys. We will have a medal reveal at the middle of may

12. What different events do you have?

We have three events for this year race, the Texas tough 10 mile, The Texas tough 10k and 5k

13. What is your refund policy?

E-Dragon productions prides itself on having one of the best possible refund policies in the industry. We invite you to sign up early and if for some reason you cannot run the race prior to the 30 days before the event, we will refund you your registration minus the credit card processing fee and small charge from our site. If its 29 days or less we will be happy to switch your over to our virtual event and send your packet at no added cost. 

14. Do you have a meal at the event?

All of our runners will have breakfast tacos and coffee to get their energy back and rejuvenated. 

15. Will you have a DJ and announcer at the event?

Yes we will have the dynamic Duo DJ Paul and Anthony Zamora coming to celebrate you and cheer you in as you come back to the finish line. This should be one main reason you sign up

16. Can we become a sponsor for the event?

Yes if you would like to come over to be a sponsor and set up let us know. There is small fee starting from 150 to 5000 depending on the level you want to become. Contact Edragontees@gmail.com and we can get you set up. 

17. Can I use your E-Dragon coins for your event?

Absolutely you can use your discount to sign up for any of our main events. Just let us know which one you would like to run.
