THE CALDWELL CLASSIC - a memorial 5K RUN/WALK honoring Theresa DiMasi and Marie LanFrank

The Caldwell-West Caldwell Education Foundation (CWCEF) invites you to our Annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This community-wide event honors the legacies of two of the CWCEF's Founding Members, Theresa DiMasi and Marie LanFrank. Their vision of helping every student in our district be successful is still very much at the heart of our mission today.

This year, we are thrilled to announce that Iron PT, The Rotary Club of the Caldwells, and The Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex are teaming up to donate $1 for every mile registered! 8:15 AM  Children's Dash (up to 5 years old; registration not required. However, if you'd like your child to receive an event shirt, please register for the 1- Mile)

8:30 AM  Welcome Remarks

Race Day, May 16: Bib pick-up and event-day registration begins at 7:00am

Monday, May 11: 3-3:30pm at Lincoln Elementary School, Caldwell

Tuesday, May 12: 3-3:30pm at Washington Elementary School, West Caldwell

Wednesday, May 13: 3-3:30pm at Jefferson Elementary School, Caldwell

Thursday, May 14: 3-3:30pm at Wilson Elementary School, West Caldwell
 

1-Mile Fun Run:  Start at JCHS. Up Woodmere Rd. Turn right onto Lane Ave. Turn right onto Westville. Back to JCHS... TAKE THIS LOOP TWICE. (This is not a timed race.)

5K (see map):  Start at JCHS. Up Westville Ave. Through the park. Past the pond. Turn back on Brookside. Down Westville Ave. End at JCHS. *Water station every mile.
