About The Cookie Mile

Join us for the second annual Cookie Mile presented by Kookaburra Cookies, Fleet Feet, and Nike! The course features a fast, flat one-mile loop through the iconic Aksarben Village in Omaha, Nebraska. Starting from Stinson Park, runners circle the village before finishing on the corner of 67th Street and Mercy Road. All runners will be greeted at the finish line with a custom finisher medal, exclusive finisher t-shirt, and a fresh-baked Kookaburra cookie.

Pricing

  • $40 from April 27 through May 27
  • $45 from May 28 through June 26 at 5pm

Route

Divisions

Open Division

  • The Open Division is for those of all paces and experience levels.
    • Walkers and runners of any pace are warmly welcome in the Open Division.
    • Participants in high school and middle school are encouraged to sign up in their respective divisions, but are warmly welcome to run in the Open Division if they prefer.

Middle School Division

  • The Middle School Division is open to those currently in middle school, who will be in grades 5-8 during the 2027 school year.

High School Division

  • The High School Division is made for those in high school, including rising freshmen.
  • High school athletes looking to race competitively in the Cookie Mile should enter the Elite Division.

Family Division

  • The Family Division is for families with looking to walk or run together!
  • Strollers are allowed in the Family Division.

Kids' Quarter Mile Division

  • The Kids' Quarter mile is for extra young kids who might be more interested in the "cookie" part of the race...
  • The route is just one simple lap around Stinson Park. All kids in this division will still receive a t-shirt, medal, and cookie!

Elite Division

  • The Elite Division is open to competitive athletes of any age looking to race for awards.
    • Elite Men Standard: 5:00
    • Elite Women Standard: 6:00 
      • New in 2026, elite women will have their own designated wave beginning 10 minutes ahead of the elite men. See the schedule for details.
