About The Dryer Triathlon
Join us Saturday, March 7, 2026 for The Dryer Triathlon at The Katy Beer Garden! Enjoy a great event and after party!
The Dryer Triathlon will take place at the Katy Beer Garden. This is a sprint triathlon which starts at the Katy Natatorium with a 300 meter pool snake swim followed by a 12.9 mile bike ride and a 3.10 mile run back to the Katy Beer Garden. For this event the transition will be at Katy Natatorium located at 6331 Hwy. Blvd. in Katy, Texas. Parking is at the Katy High School Natatorium and once transition has opened we will shuttle you back to transition to get your items. This event will be limited to 550 athlete.
This event offers a triathlon, duathlon, aqua bike and relays.
The Katy Beer Garden will provide beer, and much more! There will be plenty of space for all the team tents at the finish line. All athletes will receive event shirt (If registered before the order goes in), medal, and much more.
Awards
Overall top male and female, overall top master’s male and female will receive medals. Top 3 in age groups and relay teams (All women, all men, and mixed) will receive medals. Age groups are 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 Plus. Clydesdale (220lbs & Over) 39 and Under & 40 and Over. Athena (165lbs & Over) 39 and Under & 40 and Over will also receive a medal.
All athletes will receive a shirt, finisher medal, and much more.
Cancellations
This is a rain or shine event. Occasionally weather can play a part in an event; if this occurs we will make all efforts to continue the event or eliminate segments so we may continue with your safety as our first concern. If the event must be rescheduled due to any reason (etc, weather or pandemic), you will be moved to the new date; if the event is cancelled no refunds will be given.

Event Schedule
March 7th / 5:30 AM CDT - Transition and bike maintenance opens
March 7th / 6:45 AM CDT - Transition closes; athletes will start lining up for the swim & athletes briefing will be given
March7th / 7:15 AM CDT - First swimmer will start. (Athletes will be, self seeded that morning)
March 7th / 9:30 AM CDT - Post-race refreshments and awards at The Dryer.

Timing
This is a chip timed event: all splits will be included with transitions. Occasionally a split is missed due to a misread or improper chip placement. We apologize now if this happens. Chips will be given our at packet pick up and will be along black foam strip; they are not disable and will need to be returned after the event.
USA Triathlon
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event so a USA Triathlon membership will be required by each athlete participating. If you do not have a membership you can purchase one when you register or at packet pick up. An annual membership for 17 and under is $10, a one day for 18 & older is $15, and an annual for 18 & older is $50. For more information please visit, www.usatriathlon.org.
