5K Race:

• 5K Race starts at 9 AM. Chip-Timed with Instant Results.

• Nice neighborhood paved course through historic and beautiful Pitman, NJ

1 Mile Kids Run (Age 14 & Under only):

• 1 Mile Kids Run starts at 8:40am. Chip-timed with instant results.

• A parent or guardian may run with child. ( Parent does not need to register in 1 Mile Kids Run only)

1. Friday (3/13) - 4-6pm at Running Co of Mullica Hill - located at 86 Main Street, Mullica Hill
2. Race Day - Saturday (3/14)- 7:30am-8:30am at Ballard Park in Pitman, at "Good Day for a Run" tents.

Please read through the following details prior to race day.

• Race Date: March 14th, 2026
• Arrival: Be sure to arrive early. Check-In ends at 8:30am. Pre race announcements, National Anthem, Color Guard kicks off at 8:35am.
• Start Times: Kids 1 Mile race will start at 8:40 AM, 5K will start at 9 AM, 1 Mile Walk will start at 9:03. 
• Check-In Location: Ballard Park, located next to the Pitman Library. Address is 15 Pitman Ave, Pitman NJ 08071
• Pre race Live Music - Shamrock Shenanigans will be performing pre race in Ballard Park.
• Parking: There is significant on street parking and municipal/retail lots all within walking distance to the start area.  There is plenty of parking at Bonesaw for the post race party.
• Start/Finish Location: Located at 101 West Jersey Ave, Pitman. This is a short walk from Check-In Area.

  • Merryman's Pub - Our main post race party location, will be offering a Guinness or domestic, plus they will have food menu available with some great Irish and other options! Post race fun will include Awards, Best Dressed, Live Irish DJ,and Raffles. 
  • Bonesaw Brewery -  Our overflow location with great craft beers, will honor your drink ticket for a select number of their most popular beers.  Live Irish trio - Shamrock Shenanigans, and Keek's Touch Food Truck! Door Prizes and Best Dressed too! Located just a couple minutes away at 570 Mullica Hill Rd. Glassboro. 
• Awards: Awards will be presented at Merryman's Pub at about 10:10am. Awards will go to top 3 Overall and Top 3 in each age group (under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc.) Kids One Mile Race awards are also at 10 AM and are for Top 3 male and Top 3 female finishers.

• Best Dressed Competition: 2 winners - one at each postrace party location at approx. 10:15-10:30am.  
• Race is rain or Shine.
• Strollers are permitted. Please start toward the back. 
• No Refunds or transfers
• To switch Distances - 5K to 1 Mile or 1 Mile to 5K - Please email Beth@gooddayforarun.com. Or notify race staff prior to race at check-in. There is a $15 upgrade fee required to upgrade from 1 Mile to the 5K.
