Race to Beat Breast Cancer

Lace up your shoes and make every step count!

Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the beautiful Veterans Park in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, for the Race to Beat Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk.

Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or participating in honor or memory of someone you love, this event is for you. Together, we’ll celebrate survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer.

Proceeds from this event benefit A Glimmer of Hope, helping provide research, education, support, and resources to those facing breast cancer.

Bring your family, friends, coworkers, or create a team and join us for a morning filled with community spirit, hope, and determination. Every registration helps make a difference.

October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.  As a community, we are stronger together in more ways than one.  If you would like to become a sponsor, please contact the Mount Pleasant Business District Authority office at 412-554-3002 or send an email to mountpleasantbda@gmail.com and our Community Liaison will be in touch.   

PINK SPONSOR - $1,000.00

• Recognition on all advertising and promotional materials including flyers, social media platforms, newspaper and billboards. (Must be received by 8/21/24 for a September billboard)
