Winter One 2026 Information

Wave Assignments

Wave Assignments will appear here, on Facebook, and Instagram 24 hours before the race.

Estimated wave times will be added as soon as possible.

Awards

We do things a little different

Instead of Age group awards. We will have PR awards for runners who set their Wichita Mile PR. Runners are not eligible to win a PR award at their first Wichita Mile, but will be eligible for any future Wichita Mile race they participate in. In other words, you are awarded for beating yourself instead of others. The PR's are age graded.

But you can also be awarded for beating others: Top 3 Men & Women overall, Top 3 Age Graded Men & Women and Top Team, will receive free entry into the next Wichita Mile event and receive Fartleks Gift Cards!

Teams

You and 4 teammates, run club buddies, coworkers, classmates, friends, family, etc sign up in the same group/team and be eligible for the team awards. Top team with the best average age grade will be recognized and receive the team awards.  Don't forget since this event is in waves, you'll likely have the opportunity to cheer on your teammates before or after your run.

Will it be one of the local run clubs to take the prize (Run Wichita, TJ's, Run 316, ERC, F88, Delano Desperados) or is there a quick family, workplace, school out there who can take them down?

Our current defending Champions are the JaVe Track Club
