Course Map
The Course
The course follows the equestrian trails of Lake Rebecca Park Reserve and offers a variety of scenery. The trail surface is packed dirt and grass.
There are several moderately difficult hills within the route, with limited roots and rocks. Lower areas and those in dense woods may have mud or standing water of a few inches.
Like any trail, runners should take extra care with their foot placement during the race. See the course map link for route details and an elevation chart.
Aid Stations
There are four aid stations on the course.
All four aid stations will have water and Gatorade.
AS#1 - Don's Rock - 1.7 miles
Water, Gatorade, band aids, and support
AS#2 - South Group Camp - 3.26 miles
Water, Gatorade, and lots of snacks and food
AS#3 - Roy Road - 5.88 miles

AS#4 - Beachside - 7.75 miles

Parking Information
Parking is free at Lake Rebecca. Depending on where you park, it may be a 5-to-10-minute walk to the start area. Get directions to the park.
Should onsite parking fill, staff will greet you and direct you to an offsite parking lot. A free shuttle will be available from overflow parking to the event village and will run throughout the day to bring you back to your vehicle.
6k Course
The 6k route is completing a 3k loop twice.
The loop shares the westward part with the larger loop and runs counterclockwise.
Packet Pickup
There will be no early packet pickup. Packets will be available to be picked up at park the morning of the race starting at 7:00am.
Bag Drop
50k runners will have the opportunity to drop a bag at Beachside, which is near the start and finish areas.
Drop bags are for runners to access between laps.
Runners in the 25k, 12.5k, and 6k must carry any supplies they need.
Bad Weather Policy
The race will go on! Spring weather in Minnesota is highly variable and past Trail Mix participants have run in the sunshine, in the cold, through rain, in a few inches of snow and through plenty of mud. Lightning may delay the start of the race.
In the unfortunate case the weather is deemed too dangerous to be on the trails, the race will be cancelled. Refunds will not be issued for event cancellation.
50k - Time Limit
Runners must begin the 4th loop by 2pm.
