About Trauma Survivors Celebration 5K/1 Mile Run, Walk, & Roll
Join us and help show your support for those who have faced and overcome traumatic injuries and share your encouragement for those still fighting!
We welcome you for a scenic run/walk or roll that celebrates the courage and strength of individuals who have faced and overcome traumatic injuries. This event takes place on the beautiful Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan and offers a unique opportunity for survivors, family members, and healthcare providers to reconnect. Participants will take in the stunning views of the Detroit River, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Belle Isle, and celebrate their amazing accomplishments along the way.

What time does each event start?
5k: 8:40AM 1 Mile: 8:50AM
Will there be a race day registration and packet pickup?
Yes! Registration will be held in front of the parking lot just outside of the casino. Note: Please give yourself enough time to park, register, pick up your race bib and shirt, and get to the starting line for your event.
Where do I park?
Free parking will be available close to the start/finish. Check Maps for a downloadable map of the course and parking areas around Belle Isle Park.
Please note that the race courses will be OPEN to traffic.
You will need a day parks pass to enter Belle Isle:
Belle Isle Recreation Passport: The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requires that all event attendees and vendors have a recreation passport for this event. Please see the DNR websites (https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/Buy-and-Apply/rec-pp) for more information.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we love our furry friends and welcome them. Provided that the dog is on a 6 foot, non-retractable leash at all times. Dog owners are responsible for the handling, actions, and waste cleanup of their pets.
Is there a minimum age?
Participants need to be 6 years old or older. Younger kids can participate by riding is a stroller or with a parent. There is no charge or perks for kids under 6.
