Players may register for ONE racquet event and ONE golf event. Due to scheduling difficulties, you cannot register for both tennis and pickleball!

Q: What is the date & time for the golf tournament and what is included?

A: The golf portion of the 3-day event will be played Friday, April 10, 2026. Registration is at 9am, with a shotgun start at 11am. Golf cart, lunch, on course beverages and dinner is included.

 

Q: What is the date & time for all tennis events and what is included?

A: The tennis portion of the 3-day event will begin Saturday, April 11, 2026, with a 7am registration & 8am play. Finals will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026. Both days include breakfast snacks, lunch & tournament t-shirt.

 

Q: What is the date & time for all pickleball events and what is included?

A: The ladies and men's doubles pickleball portion of the 3-day event will begin Saturday, April 11, 2026, with a 7am registration & 8am play. Finals will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026. Both days include breakfast snacks, lunch & tournament t-shirt.

Format of Pickleball competition will be based on the number of doubles teams registered

 

Groups with at least 5 teams:

• Double elimination with no come around (i.e., if a team loses a match the best they can do is bronze. They cannot come around to win the gold)

• Main draw: Matches consist of a best of 3 game format with each game to 11, win by 1 point.

• Consolation: Each match consists of one game to 15, win by 2 points except for the final match which determines third place. (The third-place match will be best of 3 games to 11, win by 1 point)

• NOTE: Matches other than the semi-final and final will have a time limit of 30 minutes and will be managed by the Court Assignment Desk.  If a winner has not been determined based on the above, then following will determine the winner.
  The team with the most points across all games (including the incomplete game) will win.
  If the total points at the end of 30 minutes are tied, then sudden death will decide the winner.  The next team to win the point wins the match.  (The winning team does not need to be the serving team in sudden death.)

Groups with 3 or 4 teams:

• Round Robin format.

• Winners will be determined by matches won, head-to-head, and point differential.

• Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2 points.
  
  
  

Other Information:

• Match formats may be shortened if weather poses scheduling delays.

• If weather prevents an entire pickleball competition, it will not be rescheduled for another day. Further, the registration cost will be considered a donation & will not be refunded.

• Early registration is encouraged.

We invite you to join us for the Tunnel to Towers Pickleball For Heroes' Tournament on Friday - Sunday, April 10-12, 2026.  

All games will be in a Round-Robin format, with a minimum of 5 games for all players. All games in the Round-Robin format are to 11, win by 1 point.  If last-minute cancellations cause a bye that would result in only a 4-game minimum play in your event, the 4 games will be to 15, win by 1.  The format for events with a minimum of 12-16 registered teams will also include a medal playoff round.

This Tournament includes raffles, auctions, gift bags, lunch, and more. Also mark on your calendar that for all of our pickleball and tennis players, we are holding a "Player Party" cocktail reception on Saturday, April 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. There will be complimentary appetizers, a cash bar and lots of fun socializing.
