About Turtle Trot 5K
The Turtle Trot 5K is held at SunWest Park in Hudson. The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park, you're in for a treat! Participants may run or walk.
Packet Pickup is on Saturday morning from 6:30 am to 7:45 am. A pre-race meeting will begin at 7:50 am.
Every registered participant will receive a finisher award and the top male and female in the timed 5K will receive an overall award.
Note: T-Shirts are an "add-on" during registration so the proceeds from registration can be donated to PAIR.
Proceeds of this event will go to the Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Adaptive and Inclusive Programming (PAIR). The PAIR program's mission is to enrich the lives of our diverse community by offering inclusive and adaptive programming within our county parks and recreation system ensuring individuals of all abilities have access to recreational opportunities, fostering a sense of belonging, empowerment, and well-being for everyone.
The 6th Annual Turtle Trot is in loving memory of Angela Fagan, Program Manager - Community and Outreach at Pasco County Parks Recreation and Natural Resources Department, whose life was cut short due to complications of the COVID-19 virus.
